Therefore, the mother should pay attention to taking care of her body after a caesarean section, and her family should also make sure that she eats more foods that are conducive to wound recovery. So what are the 30-day diet plans for women who have undergone cesarean section?

First day of confinement meal

A cup of radish juice and a cup of boiled water. White rice porridge.

Six hours after cesarean section, the mother can eat after the intestines are exhausted.

The effect of radish water: promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function and prevent the occurrence of intestinal bloating.

Reminder: You must go to the toilet within 8 hours after delivery. It is very important to urinate, which can prevent you from increasing infection.

Childbirth puts the body through a rigorous test, and the weak body is in urgent need of nutrition. Even if you don't feel like eating anything, force yourself to eat slowly and at least drink some water, otherwise you may become dehydrated.

Supplementing with sufficient carbohydrates in the first meal is beneficial to restore energy; amino acids can quickly repair the body; fresh fruits and vegetables can act as diuretics and laxatives; rich iron and vitamin C that helps iron absorption are also essential nutrients that can help the body restore the blood lost during delivery. Dinner: white rice porridge (with a few lettuce leaves), radish soup, wine mixed with eggs (add a little brown sugar to expel lochia, wine mixed with eggs to promote lactation) and traditional Chinese medicine Rulutong (to clear the milk ducts).

Postpartum meal on the third day

Breakfast: white rice porridge (mixed with some millet), a meat bun stuffed with some wine (don’t eat the meat filling, it can help stimulate milk secretion).

Lunch: White rice porridge (mixed with some millet).

Dinner: white rice porridge (mixed with some red dates), stir-fried chicken greens, and good luck.

Note:

Millet: I heard that white rice can easily cause indigestion, so adding some millet can neutralize the problem.

Red dates: help expel lochia. But it is better to eat less in the later stages, otherwise the lochia will always be unclean and disgusting.

From the third day on, eat a banana every day to help with bowel movements. Bananas should be put in the microwave with the skin on for 30 seconds before eating. This is done to avoid eating cold fruit. You can do this with other fruits, like kiwi or something like that. If you don't have a microwave, you can consider soaking it in hot water for a few minutes.

Confinement meal on the fourth day

Breakfast: black rice porridge (with wolfberry) and a red bean paste bun.

Lunch: Crucian carp soup (to promote lactation) with an egg.

Dinner: Black fish soup (for wound recovery), stir-fried konjac with chicken feathers, red bean and white fungus soup

Note: Do not eat crucian carp with chicken.

Black rice: It is more nutritious than ordinary white rice. It has the functions of increasing appetite, strengthening the spleen and warming the liver, improving eyesight and activating blood circulation, and replenishing essence. It has a good restorative effect on premature gray hair, postpartum weakness, physical weakness after illness, anemia, and kidney deficiency.

Red beans: Usually women during menstruation, eating a bowl of hot red bean soup can effectively relieve the symptoms of tension during menstruation. When breast milk secretion is insufficient, you can also eat red bean soup.
