3. Improper sexual posture and position can also cause vaginal injury and bleeding. The amount of bleeding depends on the location and extent of the injury. There was a woman who, after being raped, suffered severe lacerations from the posterior vaginal wall to the vaginal vault and suffered heavy bleeding.
