Seven characteristics before menarche

Seven characteristics before menarche

When a girl has her first menstrual period, it means that her body has gone through the changes of puberty, which is called menarche. Menarche is one of the important signs of the arrival of puberty. Girls need to have some understanding of their bodies. The arrival of menarche means that girls have entered a new stage. The breasts and height of adolescent girls will change. Do you know the seven major characteristics before menarche?

Due to the action of sex hormones secreted by the ovaries, the endometrium of adolescent girls undergoes periodic changes and sheds once a month. The shed mucosa and blood are discharged from the body through the vagina. This bleeding phenomenon is menstruation. It is called menstruation because it occurs once a month for most people.

The first menstruation of a girl is called menarche, which is one of the important signs of the arrival of puberty. The age of menarche is approximately between 10 and 16 years old.

Before menstruation, there will usually be some small bloodstains on the underwear.

Before menarche, a woman's body goes through a series of changes. If you understand these changes, you can estimate the time of menarche.

2. Measure weight and height: After girls enter puberty (11-14 years old), measure their height and weight twice every six months. If a measurement reveals a sudden increase in height and weight, it indicates that the girl may have her first menstruation in the next six months.

3. Observe the condition of the breasts: If you find that the breasts begin to develop, swell and develop areolas, and there is a hard lump when touched, then menarche will occur within the next two years.

4. Check for any leucorrhea: If a transparent, colorless, odorless and slightly viscous liquid like egg white flows out of a girl's vagina, it is a normal phenomenon; if the leucorrhea is found to be brown, it indicates that the first menstruation will come in 2-3 days.

5. If acne occurs (acne on the cheeks and forehead with small pustules), menstruation will come within 2 to 3 months.
