How to take care of women’s photon hair removal?

There are many modern hair removal technologies, and advanced technologies are the most popular. Among them, photon hair removal is a relatively popular advanced hair removal method. Most women who love beauty like to use this method to remove hair in order to achieve the purpose of refreshing skin. However, when using this method of hair removal, you must do a good job of post-operative care. Let’s take a look at how to care for women’s photon hair removal?

Laser hair removal is based on the principle of selective photothermal dynamics. By reasonably adjusting the laser wavelength energy pulse width, the laser can penetrate the skin surface to reach the hair follicles at the root of the hair. The light energy is absorbed and converted into heat energy that destroys the hair follicle tissue, thereby making the hair lose its ability to regenerate without damaging the surrounding tissues.

Laser hair removal post-operative care:

(1) After hair removal, the pores are likely to open, so it is recommended to avoid bathing or swimming within 24 hours.

(2) It is best not to apply body care products such as lotion within 24 hours, as these products may cause irritation to the skin.

(3) Do not use your hands or other objects to squeeze the area where the red spots appear on the skin.

(4) Do not wear darkly dyed or dirty underwear, as the skin will be more sensitive and prone to inflammation after surgery. It is recommended to wear clean colored cotton underwear.

(5) Avoid spicy foods, such as chili peppers, and do not drink alcohol within 5 days after surgery. Eat more fruits containing vitamin C, or take vitamin C tablets directly. Vitamin C can improve skin resistance and reduce pigmentation.

(6) Do not use too hot water to clean the surgical area after surgery.

(7) The skin after hair removal should not be exposed to the sun and daily sun protection should be taken.

The recovery time of laser hair removal cannot be generalized. It is mainly related to many factors such as the specific number of laser hair removals and the type of skin and hair.

Laser hair removal generally requires three to five times, and some people even need more times, because the hair growth cycle has three stages: growth phase, regression phase, and resting phase. Only hair in the growth phase can be effectively removed. These three growth cycles of hair exist at the same time, so several treatments are required to achieve more thorough hair removal.
