Mothers are the greatest people in the world. They give us life and a warm home after going through ten difficult months of pregnancy. Because of this, protecting and caring for pregnant women becomes a matter of course. We all know that all the nutrients and components of the fetus in the mother's body come from the mother, so the health of the mother is very important to the fetus. Therefore, we should try our best to avoid pregnant women from getting sick, because the most taboo thing during pregnancy is taking medicine. But what if a pregnant woman develops ringworm during pregnancy? Let’s now understand whether the growth of ringworm in pregnant women will affect the fetus. In everyone's eyes, ringworm is nothing to be alarmed about, and you can just find some ointment to treat the itchy skin. However, for pregnant women, who need to be cautious in everything and protect themselves during pregnancy, ringworm on their skin cannot be easily dealt with. So what should pregnant women do if they have ringworm on their skin? 1. Neurodermatitis is related to mental stress . Such as work pressure, mental stress, irregular life, excessive fatigue and sun exposure. The condition often worsens under conditions of excessive sweating, drinking, itching and friction. In the initial stage of the disease, the disease only manifests as skin itching without rash. After frequent itching or friction, papules will appear. They are polygonal and scattered. After a while, the papules gradually increase in number and densely fuse to form thickened skin, which are typical patches of lichenoid lesions. There are 6 ways to prevent and treat this disease: 1. Live a regular and orderly life, do not smoke, drink less, and avoid eating irritating and spicy foods. Do not use scratching, rubbing or hot water to relieve itching. 2. When there are symptoms of neurasthenia and severe itching, you can use some sedatives and antihistamines, such as cephalosporin, cyproheptadine, ketotifen, etc. 3. Blockade therapy is sometimes more effective, such as using corticosteroids or diphenhydramine for local blockade, and angelica liquid for acupoint blockade. 4. Topical preparations, such as corticosteroid ointments or creams such as Piyanping Cream, Fule Cream, and Pikang Cream; in addition, corticosteroid tinctures and aqueous solutions such as Piyanning Tincture, Fuershu Tincture, and Lefu Liquid can be used; 5% to 10% black bean distillate ointment, pine distillate ointment, etc. can also be used. 5. Physical therapy, such as local freezing with liquid nitrogen or mineral bath treatment, can achieve certain therapeutic effects. 6. Depending on the symptoms, you can also take Chinese medicine or acupuncture therapy, both of which have good therapeutic effects. The above will not affect the fetus, and urea ointment can be used externally for treatment. 2. Pregnancy-specific skin diseases . This type of disease is unique to pregnancy. In mild cases, it can cause constant itching in patients, and in severe cases, it can cause fetal death in the womb, so it must not be underestimated. If you find yourself suffering from a skin disease, you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment immediately. Do not treat it blindly on your own. Pruritus gestationis is intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, which is characterized by itching in the second or third trimester of pregnancy, or the coexistence of itching and jaundice. It is particularly sensitive on the chest, abdomen and lower limbs, and in severe cases red papules may appear. Prurigo during pregnancy usually occurs during the 3rd to 4th month of pregnancy and usually disappears on its own within 3 weeks after delivery. Herpes during pregnancy occurs during the 3rd to 6th month of pregnancy and lesions such as erythema, papules, and blisters may appear after a few days. This is all because of cholestasis, which causes the intervillous space of the placenta to narrow, affecting the material exchange and oxygen supply between the mother and the fetus, causing intrauterine growth retardation of the fetus, a fetal birth weight lower than that of newborns of the same gestational age, premature birth, stillbirth, and increased perinatal mortality. Early diagnosis and treatment of this disease is very important. Of course, the rash and intrahepatic cholestasis will naturally subside after delivery, but the chance of recurrence is still high during the next pregnancy. Pregnant women should try to wear cotton underwear, as synthetic clothing will irritate the skin and aggravate symptoms. At the same time, you should pay attention to skin cleanliness, do not use alkaline bath soaps, and never scratch the skin to prevent secondary infection. 3. How to take care of your skin during pregnancy During pregnancy, due to estrogen, the skin may lose its radiance or the skin type may change. This is due to active metabolism, which leads to increased sweat and sebum. Moreover, because the skin becomes sensitive, it will become rough if you are not careful. So, what should pregnant women do to stay beautiful, attractive and in their best condition during pregnancy? 1. Washing your face: Beauty during pregnancy mainly involves washing your face. Twice a day, morning and night, use your usual soap to create foam, wash thoroughly, and after washing, apply makeup. In the summer when it is easy to sweat, you should wash your face more often. Washing your face frequently is not only to remove grease, but also to make you feel refreshed. Due to the effect of hormones, freckles are easy to appear on the face. They usually go away after delivery, so you don’t have to worry too much about it. Exposure to ultraviolet rays can also cause freckles, so avoid strong direct sunlight on your face. When walking or going out, wear a hat and put some sunscreen on your face to protect your skin. 2. Massage: It is also very important to perform facial massage every day during pregnancy. It can not only speed up the blood circulation of the skin and enhance metabolism, but also prevent skin diseases, protect the delicate skin, and restore the skin's functions as soon as possible after delivery. Those who have been massaging before pregnancy should do it more frequently; those who have never done it before should start doing it from the moment they know they are pregnant. The essentials of massage are as follows: first use cleansing cream to wipe off the dirt on your face; wash your face with soap, then wipe it dry with a towel; apply cold cream evenly on your face, and then use your middle finger and ring finger to massage in a spiral from the middle of the face to the outside; after the massage, wring a hot towel to wipe it. 3. In terms of diet, you should consume more foods containing high-quality animal protein and vitamins A, B, B2, C, etc.; vegetables and fruits can make your skin color more beautiful. Balanced nutrition and balanced food can provide good protection for pregnant women's hair, skin and various organs in the body. During pregnancy, pregnant women should supplement more vitamin B, drink more water, pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene, and try to relax and be a happy pregnant woman. I wish every pregnant woman good health, happiness and joy. |
