Gynecological inflammation is a relatively common female physical disease in real life. The most obvious manifestation of gynecological inflammation is vaginitis. Due to the inflammation in the uterus, it is easy to cause vaginal secretions, resulting in itching of the vulva, or itchy and painful feelings, and it is also easy to cause urinary tract infection, causing symptoms such as a strong odor in the vulva. Symptoms of gynecological inflammation 1. Vaginitis : The main symptoms are increased vaginal discharge and vulvar itching, or burning, pain, and pain during sexual intercourse. The discharge is typically thin, purulent, yellow-green, frothy, and has a foul odor. If combined with urinary tract infection, there may be frequent urination, painful urination, and sometimes hematuria. 2. Cervicitis : Some cases are asymptomatic, while those with symptoms include increased vaginal discharge, which is mucopurulent. The stimulation of vaginal discharge can cause itching and burning sensation in the vagina, and symptoms such as intermenstrual bleeding and bleeding after sexual intercourse may also occur. In addition, there are often lower urinary tract symptoms, such as urgency, frequency, and pain when urinating. Gynecological examination revealed cervical congestion, edema, and mucosal eversion, with purulent secretions flowing out of the cervical canal. The cervix was tender, brittle, and easily bleeding when touched. 3. Adnexitis : Adnexitis can be divided into acute and chronic. Acute adnexitis is accompanied by symptoms of abdominal pain and fever; chronic adnexitis is accompanied by symptoms of abdominal pain, increased leucorrhea, etc. Chronic adnexitis is one of the causes of female infertility. 4. Pelvic inflammatory disease : acute and chronic. The acute disease has an acute onset and develops rapidly, with symptoms such as high fever, abdominal pain and distension, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, headache, etc. Chronic symptoms include general fatigue and lack of energy, which are especially severe during menstruation and after sexual intercourse. How to pay attention to sexual hygiene? (1) Pay attention to cleanliness before and after sexual intercourse. Both husband and wife should wash their genitals with warm water before and after sexual intercourse. Women should urinate immediately after sexual intercourse to reduce the chance of urinary tract infection. (2) Sexual intercourse should be avoided during menstruation, postpartum period, after drinking, illness, and excessive fatigue; sexual intercourse should be avoided as much as possible during the first three months and the last three months of pregnancy; sexual intercourse should also be avoided for one month after induced abortion or IUD removal. (3) If either spouse experiences urethral, vulvar, vaginal or other discomfort, they should temporarily stop having sex and go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in a timely manner. Common gynecological disease prevention and treatment for women For the gynecological diseases that are more common among women nowadays, actively preventing, treating and caring for gynecological diseases is also an important part of reducing the factors that induce gynecological diseases. Common uterine gynecological diseases 1. Uterine fibroids : Uterine fibroids are a common gynecological disease among adult women. Symptoms of uterine fibroids include irregular menstruation, abdominal lumps, compression symptoms, etc. Uterine fibroids are often complicated by fallopian tube and ovarian lesions, and are also very likely to coexist with uterine endometrial adenocarcinoma and cervical cancer. In winter, you should drink more boiled water and eat a certain amount of fruit every day to prevent uterine fibroids. 2. Cervical erosion : The surface of the normal cervix is covered by a layer of squamous epithelium, which is smooth and pink. The deep tissues of the cervix develop chronic inflammation due to infection, which causes the surface epithelium to become nutritionally impaired and fall off. The peeling surface of the epithelium is gradually covered by the columnar epithelium of the cervical canal. The columnar epithelium is very thin, and the blood vessels and red stroma underneath can be seen, so the surface becomes red. This is cervical erosion. 3. Cervical polyps : Cervical polyps are one or several small pedunculated bumps that grow in the cervix. The roots of the small bumps are mostly attached to the external os of the cervix, and only a few grow inside the cervical canal. The shape of the polyp is like a water droplet, with a diameter generally less than 1 cm. The stalk is slender, bright red in color, very soft and brittle, and easily bleeds upon contact. Most cervical polyps are a manifestation of chronic cervicitis, which is formed by the proliferation of cervical mucosa under inflammatory stimulation. |
