Human papillomavirus is a skin disease that usually occurs in young women. It will cause erythema on the skin surface. It is caused by premature sexual experience. Having human papillomavirus can cause great harm to the body, easily lead to abnormal development, and cause transmission. Harm to the human body Viral analysis has revealed 100 types of human papillomavirus. It was found that types 6 and 11 were low risk and rarely caused developmental abnormalities, while types 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, and 45 were high risk and often caused developmental abnormalities. The vast majority of anal HPV infections are caused by types 6 and 11. Human papillomavirus causes at least 10 diseases in humans. The most common one is common warts, which have an incidence rate of up to 50% in school-age children. It can also cause a variety of sexually transmitted diseases, the most important of which is genital warts. The HPV that causes "common warts" on the hands and feet is different from the HPV that causes warts in the genital and anal areas. Certain types of HPV have also been linked to the development of reproductive tract malignancies, such as cervical, anal, vaginal, and penile cancers. But the types of HPV that cause exostosis on the genitals or around the anus do not cause cancer. Transmission Patients and carriers of human papilloma are the main sources of infection. Human papillomavirus infection is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases. It is highly contagious and is most often spread by sexual contact; it can be passed to others before warts develop or obvious symptoms appear. In addition, close contact, skin abrasions, infants passing through an infected birth canal, autoinoculation (transmission to other parts of the body through scratching) and fomites are also common routes of transmission. Risk Factors for HPV Infection 1. Having multiple sexual partners; 2. Early sexual life (before the age of 16); 3. Smoking; 4. Suffering from other sexually transmitted diseases; 5. Immune system defects caused by clinical treatment, AIDS and other reasons lead to reduced body resistance. Clinical manifestations Most anal and genital warts have no obvious symptoms, but patients often have symptoms such as anal itching and burning. There are usually no symptoms during the incubation period of HPV infection, and by the time symptoms appear, the infection is estimated to have occurred for 3 months or several years. Virus Prevention The main way to prevent human papillomavirus is to avoid sexual transmission. Using condoms during sex can help prevent the spread of HPV. Clinical studies have shown that men who use condoms regularly are less likely to develop genital warts than men who use condoms occasionally or never. Maintaining fidelity between husband and wife (no extramarital sex) is also a good way of protection. People who have HPV should tell their partners before having sex and take protective measures. Also, you should not have sexual intercourse if you have genital or perianal warts. |
