There are many reasons that lead to uterine prolapse, such as exerting force during delivery, exercising too early after delivery, etc., which are prone to such situations.

Causes of uterine prolapse: 1. During delivery, premature breath holding, premature delivery, delayed delivery, and especially difficult vaginal delivery may cause excessive stretching or tearing of the uterine ligaments, parauterine tissues, and pelvic floor muscles and fascia. If you do not pay attention to health care after delivery, the "birth injuries" of these tissues will not recover well, which will affect the support of the uterus and become the main factor of uterine prolapse in the future.

The second reason for uterine prolapse is that if you participate in heavy physical labor too early after delivery, or have chronic cough, habitual constipation, etc., the abdominal pressure will increase, causing the uterus to shift downward. Uterine prolapse often occurs later in life or worsens after menopause due to a drop in estrogen levels and the shrinkage and lack of tone of the uterine support tissue. By the same token, women with weak constitutions or congenital pelvic floor tissue abnormalities may suffer from uterine prolapse even if they are unmarried or not pregnant.

The third cause of uterine prolapse is that the uterus descends along the vagina from its normal position, the external opening of the cervix reaches below the level of the ischial spine, or even the uterus completely protrudes out of the vaginal opening, which is called uterine prolapse. Uterine prolapse often occurs in old age or begins to worsen after menopause. This is because with aging, estrogen levels decrease, and the uterine supporting tissue atrophies and lacks tension.
