What causes breast pain when pressing breasts?

Women should learn to examine their breasts themselves, such as pressing and touching. If they find breast tenderness, they should pay attention, because common diseases such as breast hyperplasia, breast tumors, and breast cancer have become common diseases that threaten women's breast health.

1. The breast is the target organ of endocrine hormones, which means that under normal circumstances, that is, during the endocrine changes of the menstrual cycle, the breast tissue will be affected by endocrine hormones, resulting in physiological changes. The breast will undergo periodic proliferation and regression during the menstrual cycle, which is manifested as fullness and mild pain in the breasts of women before menstruation, and the breast pain will be reduced or disappear after menstruation. This physiological change is a normal physiological phenomenon for women of childbearing age, but the degree of breast pain varies from person to person. If this physiological proliferation exceeds a certain range or the regression is incomplete, it will cause breast tissue hyperplasia over time, which is generally called lobular hyperplasia of the breast. It can be seen that lobular hyperplasia is a benign proliferation and degeneration of breast tissue. In essence, it is neither inflammation nor tumor.

2. But clinically, it is one of the common causes of breast pain in women. It is more common in young and middle-aged women. There is thickening of breast tissue on the upper part of the breast, which is flexible and sometimes forms a lump with unclear boundaries, but it rarely adheres to the surface skin and there is no enlargement of axillary lymph nodes. Most of them are bilateral, and the pain can radiate to the armpit, shoulder, etc. The pain is often relieved after menstruation.

. 3. The treatment of lobular hyperplasia is mainly symptomatic treatment. Chinese medicine can be used to regulate ovarian function and regular follow-up is required. Currently, there are many drugs for the treatment of lobular hyperplasia, and they are relatively disordered. Most of them are based on Chinese patent medicines. Many hospitals also have self-prepared drug treatments, which generally have certain effects, but cannot be a cure. Breast pain symptoms will reappear after stopping the drug. In recent years, the use of tamoxifen (tamoxifen) and other drugs to treat lobular hyperplasia has had certain effects.
