What are cervical diseases?

The adverse effects of cervical diseases are not serious, and if the disease is delayed, it may affect women's reproductive health. Cervical erosion is accompanied by a large number of white blood cells, which can swallow sperm, thus having a negative effect on the combination of sperm and egg, and can easily lead to infertility. Chronic cervicitis may cause abnormalities in the function of women's bilateral fallopian tubes and may also lead to infertility. So what are the common cervical diseases?

1. Cervical erosion is one of the common gynecological diseases and also a type of chronic metritis. In patients with cervical erosion, due to the influence of inflammatory secretions, the squamous epithelium of the cervix begins to fall off and is replaced by columnar epithelial cells. Abortion surgery, sexual harm, etc. may cause infection and lead to cervical erosion.

2. Cervical cysts are easily ignored by patients because their symptoms are not very prominent. Cervical cyst is also a type of chronic cervicitis. Under the influence of inflammation, the cervical canal mucosa proliferates and deposits, and then protrudes toward the external os of the cervix to form a cyst. This is a cervical cyst. Most cysts are smaller than 1 cm, but some may reach several centimeters in diameter.

3. Cervical hypertrophy caused by pathogens, chlamydia, etc. is also a common cervical disease. If the condition is not treated promptly and worsens, it may lead to blockage of the fallopian tubes and cause infertility, so it should be taken seriously.

4. Modern women are under increasing work pressure, and cervical cancer has become one of the common cervical diseases. Some cervical diseases may cause cervical cancer if not treated in time. Cervical cancer is more common in women aged 40-50 and has become the leading killer of women's reproductive health.
