In contemporary society, are there more and more women around us suffering from chronic cervical inflammation? The answer is yes! Some women's condition is relatively mild, but some women's condition is very serious. No matter how serious the disease is, many women know about it. Today, let me, the editor, popularize some knowledge about this disease to our female compatriots. I hope some of my explanations can help you, and I will tell you everything I know. Clinical manifestations: (1) Increased vaginal discharge: Sometimes it is the only symptom of chronic cervicitis. It is usually thick mucus or purulent mucus. Sometimes the secretions may contain blood or a small amount of blood, and there may also be contact bleeding. Vulvar itching may be caused by irritation from leucorrhea. (ii) Pain: Pain often occurs in the lower abdomen or lumbosacral region. Sometimes the pain may occur in the upper abdomen, thighs and hip joints. The pain worsens during menstruation, bowel movements or sexual intercourse. In particular, when the inflammation extends posteriorly along the uterosacral ligament or spreads along the bottom of the broad ligament, chronic parauterine connective tissue inflammation is formed. The pain is even more severe when the cardinal ligament of the cervix thickens. Whenever the cervix is touched, it immediately causes pain in the iliac fossa and lumbosacral region. Some patients may even experience nausea, affecting their sexual life. (III) Bladder and intestinal symptoms: Chronic cervicitis can spread through the lymphatic channels or directly spread to the bladder trigone or the connective tissue around the bladder. As a result, as soon as there is urine in the bladder, there will be an urge to defecate, and symptoms of frequent urination or difficulty urinating will appear, but the urine is clear and the routine urine test is normal. In some cases, the inflammation continues to spread or through the lymphatic pathways connecting the cervix, bladder trigone, and ureters, causing secondary urinary tract infection. The incidence of chronic pyelonephritis in adult women is many times higher than that in men, which may be related to this situation. Intestinal symptoms are less common than bladder symptoms, and some patients experience pain during bowel movements. (iv) Other symptoms: such as irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, pelvic heaviness, infertility, etc. Are you a little scared when you hear this? You never thought it would be so harmful to the body and life-threatening. Female compatriots must pay attention to prevention and treatment, and check whether they have had any of the above clinical manifestations recently. Women should learn to be nicer to themselves and learn to take care of their bodies. Find out the source of the disease and give yourself a healthy and beautiful body. |
