Symptoms of menstrual disorders in women

Whether menstruation is normal indicates whether a woman’s body is healthy and is also an important indicator of a woman’s reproductive health. Irregular menstruation is caused by disorders of female endocrine system due to illness, life stress and environmental changes. Changes in menstrual cycles and bleeding volume lead to various diseases, which have a great impact on women's lives. Endocrine disorders can cause menstruation to last too long or too short, irregular bleeding, or symptoms of amenorrhea, which may lead to diseases such as uterine fibroids, endometrial hyperplasia, and endometrial polyps. Menstrual disorders are usually the key factor causing infertility, so women should pay attention to it and go to the hospital for treatment in time.

Symptoms of menstrual disorders in women:

1. Early menstruation

Early menstruation refers to a shortened menstrual cycle, shorter than 21 days, and it occurs for more than 2 consecutive cycles. It is a basic condition of ovulatory functional uterine bleeding.

The temperature is biphasic, with a short follicular phase of only 7 to 8 days, or a luteal phase shorter than 10 days, or a temperature rise of less than 0.5°C.

2. Delayed menstruation

Menstruation is delayed for more than 7 days, or even every 40 to 50 days, and occurs for more than two consecutive menstrual cycles. For those who ovulate, the basal body temperature is biphasic, but the follicular phase is long and the high temperature phase is low; for those who do not ovulate, the basal body temperature is monophasic.

3. Prolonged menstrual period

The menstrual cycle is normal, the menstrual period is prolonged, the menstrual period exceeds 7 days, and even lasts for 2 weeks. People with inflammation usually have lower abdominal pain, which worsens during menstruation. They also have a lot of leucorrhea, which is yellow or yellow-white, thick, and has an odor. Those with incomplete corpus luteum atrophy also have heavy menstrual flow; those with prolonged endometrial repair still have a small amount of persistent vaginal bleeding after the normal menstrual period.

4. Menstrual disorders

There are also irregular menstruation, early or delayed menstruation, and a cycle that is shorter than 21 days or longer than 35 days.

Women should receive healthy physiological education from an early age, learn common hygiene knowledge, have a correct understanding of the physiological phenomenon of menstruation, pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, and not be greedy for momentary pleasure and have sexual intercourse during menstruation. During menstruation, you should pay attention to diet regulation and avoid eating raw, cold and cool foods to avoid dysmenorrhea.
