What should women pay attention to before getting pregnant?

The mother's physical constitution will have a great relationship with the baby's future physical constitution. Now every family basically only has one baby who is spoiled by everyone, so eugenics is very important. There are many things that expectant mothers need to do before pregnancy. Not only do they need to supplement their body nutrition but they also need to exercise and wait for the arrival of a healthy baby. So what specific things should women pay attention to before pregnancy?

1. Improve your diet: Learn to eat the foods you really need, which means at least three balanced meals a day, consisting of four major food groups that provide the vitamins and minerals necessary for a healthy body.

The two most important nutrients for healthy pregnant women are calcium and folic acid. Don't forget to stick to milk, citrus fruits and juices, dark green leafy vegetables, nuts, legumes, grains with skins, and fortified breads and cereals.

2. Reach a healthy weight: Have you always wanted to lose a little weight? Now is the time! Pregnancy is the best time to get closer to the recommended weight. Start by choosing low-fat, high-fiber foods.

3. Start taking vitamin supplements: Healthy people do not need vitamin supplements when eating a balanced diet. Prenatal vitamins are designed to ensure that pregnant women get enough of several important vitamins and minerals. First among them is folic acid, a B vitamin that prevents neural tube defects during fetal development.

4. Develop an exercise plan: A good, balanced fitness plan can provide three important benefits: endurance, strength, and flexibility, which you need to cope with the day-to-day stress of motherhood. You should start exercising at least 3 months before pregnancy. This will make it easier for you to maintain an active lifestyle during pregnancy and make your pregnancy life easier. For all the above exercises, you should start slowly and don't let your body get too tired.

5. Stop drinking, smoking and taking drugs: Numerous studies have shown that drinking, smoking and taking drugs are related to low birth weight, miscarriage, AIDS and postpartum mobility disorders.

6. Reduce hazards in the environment: Certain jobs can be harmful to you and your baby. If you frequently and regularly stand all day, fly for long periods of time, or are exposed to chemicals or radioactive materials, you should consider making some job adjustments.

7. Stop using birth control pills: If you have been using birth control pills, it is recommended that you should stop taking them for a few months before getting pregnant. Because it may take some time for your menstrual cycle to return to normal.

From the above introduction, our female friends have to do a lot of things before getting pregnant, and many things need to be prepared several months in advance. The most important thing is that female friends need to stay away from drugs, tobacco and alcohol, which have a great impact on the baby and the consequences will be very bad.
