What should I do if I have pain in my lower abdomen?

Pain in the lower abdomen of women should be the most common problem in our lives. Precisely because it is so common, most female compatriots may not pay attention to it. Some intermittent pain may not attract attention until the pain becomes unbearable. People will not realize if there is a problem. Is pain in the lower abdomen of women really that important? What kind of physical illness could be hidden?

1. Endometriosis

If you have severe lower abdominal pain during your monthly period and mild pain before your period, it may be endometriosis, which is when cells in the uterus gradually grow to places outside the uterus where they do not belong, such as the fallopian tubes, ovaries, and outside the bladder. At the end of the period, these cells also bleed lightly, causing inflammation and damage to the areas they extend to.

2. Ovarian cysts

If you feel pain in your lower abdomen when you move, it may be an ovarian cyst. There is a lump filled with fluid in the uterus, which is a functional cyst. The developing egg may be surrounded by the cyst fluid, causing the ovary to swell and cause pain.

3. Uterine fibroids

This is a benign tumor that may grow on the inside, outside, or inside the muscle of the ovarian wall.

4. Acute enteritis

If you have cramping pain in your lower abdomen, accompanied by dizziness, bloating, persistent diarrhea or constipation, it may be acute enteritis, in which large intestine dysfunction causes extreme sensitivity of the nerves and muscles.

5. Interstitial cystitis

If you have pain in the middle of your lower abdomen and have discomfort and frequent urination, you may have interstitial cystitis, an inflammation of your urinary tract that causes your bladder to swell. There may be lesions in the inner wall of a woman's bladder, which stimulates the central nervous system in the brain to produce a urination response.

The problem of lower abdominal pain can be serious or minor, but as long as you pay enough attention to it, observe your physical condition carefully, and write down any abnormalities in your body, you will avoid neglecting your body due to being too busy at work. The body is the capital of the revolution, and only a healthy body can work well. I wish you good health and good mood.
