Why do women experience lower abdominal and lower back pain?

Many female friends will experience lower abdominal pain at different times, sometimes accompanied by severe back pain. Some people simply attribute this phenomenon to cold. In fact, there are many reasons for this imagination. Here the editor has prepared a variety of causes of abdominal pain and back pain in women. I hope it will be of some value to people with this condition.

Generally speaking, lower abdominal pain accompanied by low back pain is likely caused by ovarian cysts. Ovarian cysts refer to masses filled with fluid in the uterus. The cysts mentioned here are all functional cysts, that is, the developing eggs may be surrounded by cystic fluid, causing ovarian enlargement and lower abdominal pain. Ovarian cysts can develop over time and cause pain in your lower abdomen when you exercise or stand up after sitting still.

Other possible causes of lower abdominal pain accompanied by back pain:

The first is adnexitis: adnexitis is the most common gynecological inflammation. Acute adnexitis has symptoms such as severe lower abdominal pain, fever, chills, etc.; chronic adnexitis is characterized by varying degrees of abdominal pain, or lower abdominal distension, accompanied by increased leucorrhea, back pain, menstrual disorders, etc. Therefore, when lower abdominal pain is accompanied by low back pain, the presence of adnexitis cannot be ruled out.

The second is endometritis: Under normal circumstances, the female vagina is acidic and the cervix has a mucus plug, which is the body's physiological barrier that can resist bacterial invasion. Endometritis is caused by bacteria that travel up the vagina and cervix or down the fallopian tubes and through the lymphatic system to the endometrium.

The last thing to consider is pelvic inflammatory disease: pelvic inflammatory disease can also cause lower abdominal pain and back pain in women. Pelvic inflammatory disease usually has no obvious systemic symptoms, but sometimes there are lower abdominal pain, distension and pain in the lower abdomen, soreness in the lumbar region, and irregular menstruation. Symptoms of lower abdominal pain will worsen after sex.

When you experience lower abdominal pain and back pain, it is best to find out the cause in time and take certain measures under the guidance of a doctor. Never be careless, so as not to delay the disease. Generally speaking, the earlier the disease is discovered, the easier it is to control. In addition, you must keep your body warm and pay more attention to your diet and don't eat indiscriminately.
