What are the causes of leucorrhea bleeding during sexual intercourse?

For women, leucorrhea is a normal phenomenon. For women, we must always do a good job in preventing gynecological diseases. In life, many women are troubled by gynecological diseases, and some even lose their lives because of them. If we find blood in our leucorrhea after sexual intercourse, we must find out the cause so that we can better prevent and treat the disease.

1. Ovulation bleeding

Generally speaking, some women will experience ovulation bleeding during their ovulation period, also known as mid-menstrual bleeding, which refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain. This is a physiological condition where there is blood in the leucorrhea.

2. Gynecological diseases

If there is blood in the leucorrhea, you should also consider the possibility of gynecological diseases: cervical polyps, acute vaginitis, severe cervical erosion, senile vaginitis, cervical cancer, submucous uterine fibroids, endometrial cancer, especially if there is blood in the leucorrhea after sexual intercourse. In mild cases, it may be cervical inflammation due to vascular congestion, and small blood vessels rupture during sexual intercourse, leading to bleeding; in severe cases, it may be an early clinical manifestation of cervical cancer.

3. Other reasons

For example, it may be caused by improper sexual intercourse, not using the correct posture during sex, or excessive friction. In addition, leucorrhea with blood is sometimes caused by the placement of an intrauterine contraceptive ring. However, it can improve after anti-inflammatory treatment, and most of the cases are sporadic. A very small number of hypertensive patients may occasionally have bloody vaginal discharge due to vascular sclerosis and rupture.

The above introduction is about the presence of blood in leucorrhea after sexual intercourse. This situation may sometimes be caused by vaginal rupture, but in most cases it is related to the health of the female reproductive system. If it is very serious, the condition cannot be delayed and the patient must take it seriously. Therefore, active treatment is the most important thing.
