Why is my lower body itchy and swollen?

There are many reasons for itching and swelling in women's lower body, such as folliculitis, vestibular glanditis, vulvar furuncle and so on.

Vaginitis, fungal and chlamydia infections can cause itching and swelling of the vulva. Because the private parts are adjacent to the urethra and anus, and are rubbed by the legs during movement, various inflammations can spread to the private parts. Female vulvitis, vaginitis, vulvar leukoplakia, local friction irritation and other reasons are also the main factors causing vulvar itching and swelling.

Vulvitis is a major gynecological disease that causes itching and swelling of the vulva in women. Vulvitis in women refers to inflammation of the skin or mucous membranes of the vulva. There are two types: acute and chronic.

What should I do if my lower body is itchy and swollen?

1. It is best for patients to go to the hospital for a gynecological examination and let the doctor help them better identify the condition. They should not seek medical treatment indiscriminately. Only after understanding the cause of the disease can they receive actual symptomatic treatment.

2. Only after carrying out routine leucorrhea examinations and other gynecological examination items can we fully understand the cause of our vaginal itching and swelling.

3. If vaginal itching and swelling is caused by vaginitis, it can be completely cured and there is no need to worry too much. In addition, in daily life, you should also pay attention to keeping the vulva dry and clean, avoid scratching, and do not scrub the private parts with hot water or soap. After vaginal infection, you can take a bath with a dilute potassium permanganate solution.

4. Women's underwear should be as loose and breathable as possible. Do not eat spicy food or other irritating foods. Try to avoid wearing tight pants and avoid taking antibiotics.
