How to prevent bleeding in early pregnancy

A friend told me a few months ago that she was pregnant. Of course I was very happy for her. I hoped she could give birth to a beautiful and healthy baby who would grow up healthily. When she told me a few days ago that she was bleeding from her private parts, I seemed to understand her worry. So what are the dangers of vaginal bleeding in early pregnancy?

Bleeding pattern

If the blood is brown, expectant mothers do not need to worry too much. Brown blood means that the bleeding has stopped, so it will oxidize into brown. Just get more rest and avoid exercise. If the blood is bright red, you should pay attention.

In early pregnancy, miscarriage is more likely to occur when the embryo is not stable. At this time, the expectant mother needs to stay in bed and rest, and ask for assistance from a professional doctor.

Bright red blood is not good for expectant mothers and they must go to the hospital for treatment immediately. If the vaginal discharge is brown, it is recommended to rest in bed. Generally speaking, bleeding can be improved, but whether the blood is brown or bright red, you must let your doctor know so that you can provide timely assistance. You must stay in bed for three days, avoid sit-ups and other abdominal exercises, and avoid holding urine and constipation.

This will cause an increase in intra-abdominal pressure.

prevention

Pregnant women should avoid going to public places in the early stages of pregnancy to prevent diseases such as influenza, rubella, measles, mumps, infectious hepatitis, and avoid exposure to X-rays, radioactive substances and pesticides. During pregnancy, you can participate in some moderate work or labor as usual, but you should not engage in heavy labor or work at height or in deep water. Do not do work that requires bending over, avoid hitting your abdomen, and do not lift heavy objects to prevent miscarriage.

Ectopic pregnancy

symptom

It is best for expectant mothers to take a pregnancy test when their period is overdue, because after confirming pregnancy, you can ask the doctor to help you confirm whether the implantation site is inside or outside the uterus. Experts remind expectant mothers that early ectopic pregnancy may not have symptoms. It is best to determine whether the implantation site is correct before intra-abdominal bleeding occurs so that the doctor can provide appropriate treatment.

Bleeding pattern

There is usually a small amount of vaginal bleeding, but in severe cases there may also be intra-abdominal bleeding.

Treatment

There are two treatments for ectopic pregnancy: surgical treatment and drug treatment. Surgical treatment includes "salpingotomy", "salpingostomy" or "salpingectomy" to remove the fallopian tube mass and pregnancy tissue; drug treatment requires the use of the anti-cancer drug methotrexate (MTX) depending on the patient's physical condition.

In addition, special attention should be paid to the fact that expectant mothers with a history of ectopic pregnancy, abnormal uterine structure, intrauterine contraceptive device, or who have undergone fallopian tube surgery are all considered to be at high risk of ectopic pregnancy.

Every pregnant mother is a high-risk group and must not do anything high-risk. If you accidentally do heavy work and it affects the growth of the baby in your belly, or you have stomach cramps, or bleeding, you must pay attention to it and go to the hospital for a check-up immediately. Don't wait until it's too late before you think about going to the hospital for treatment. That will be irreversible.
