Ultrasound diagnosis of endometritis

Endometritis is a problem that easily occurs in the endometrium, because the uterus is an important organ of reproduction. If there is a problem with the endometrium, it will definitely affect normal fertility. Therefore, it is very important to take effective measures to check and detect endometritis in time. Many women are not sure whether they can use B-ultrasound method. So, can endometritis be detected through B-ultrasound? Let’s learn more about it below.

B-ultrasound is a method of gynecological examination for women. Female diseases are initially examined with B-ultrasound. Patients with endometritis also need to undergo B-ultrasound examination to determine whether surgery is needed for the patient. When bacteria invade the endometrium and cause it to become inflamed, it is called endometritis. Endometritis can be initially diagnosed through general gynecological examination and clinical symptoms, but it is best to do a B-ultrasound examination to further clarify the condition.

B-ultrasound is an auxiliary tool for examining gynecological diseases. Many diseases require B-ultrasound for preliminary examination. Similarly, to check whether endometritis occurs, B-ultrasound can only be a preliminary examination, but to confirm the diagnosis, methods such as curettage and scraping are required. Endometritis is a common gynecological disease that is harmful to women's health and married life. Therefore, patients should pay attention to B-ultrasound examinations of endometritis, and timely diagnosis and treatment are the only way to recovery.

Endometritis, using B-ultrasound examination, may have the following manifestations: swollen and pale endometrium. There are many plasma cells and lymphocytes infiltrating in the intimal stroma. In patients with prolonged inflammation, proliferation of fibroblasts and capillaries may be seen. Senile disease presents with thickening and hardening of blood vessel walls, sometimes with calcification. In severe cases, local ulcers may occur. The surface epithelium may have squamous metaplasia. In patients with endometritis after miscarriage, attention should be paid to the presence of villi and decidua, especially if the miscarriage has been going on for a long time.

The above is an introduction to whether endometritis can be diagnosed by B-ultrasound. I hope it will be helpful to everyone’s understanding. B-ultrasound can effectively detect endometritis, but it is usually difficult to detect related lesions. It is best for female friends to develop a good habit of regular physical examinations so that when the disease is discovered, it can be treated as soon as possible to avoid more serious consequences to our health.
