Treatment for abnormal vaginal bleeding

Treatment for abnormal vaginal bleeding

In fact, in life, many people do not pay attention to their own hygiene, which will cause bacteria to enter their bodies, causing some unnecessary complications, and even abnormal vaginal bleeding. Let us now learn about the treatment methods of abnormal vaginal bleeding.

Treatment:

Treatment principles: Comprehensive treatment is currently advocated, with surgery as the main treatment and radiotherapy as the auxiliary treatment, and systemic or intraperitoneal chemotherapy before and after surgery. If clinical symptoms and B-ultrasound strongly suggest the presence of cervical sarcoma, great attention should be paid during surgery.

1. Surgical treatment: Stage I to IIa cervical sarcoma should be treated with extensive hysterectomy plus pelvic lymph node dissection and large omentum resection, but this is not routinely used. Literature reports that 10% to 37% of cases may have greater omentum metastasis, which is a common metastatic site. For larger tumors, whole pelvic radiotherapy can be added before surgery to shrink the tumor and block the vascular and lymphatic beds through fibrosis, which is beneficial for surgical resection, reduces iatrogenic dissemination, and improves survival rate.

2. Radiotherapy The effect of radiotherapy on cervical sarcoma is not very clear, and most scholars believe that the sensitivity is low, but endometrial stromal sarcoma is relatively sensitive. Nevertheless, radiation therapy may be considered in the following situations:

(1) For some large tumors, preoperative radiotherapy can improve the surgical resection rate.

(2) Postoperative pelvic irradiation has a certain effect in preventing local recurrence.

(3) For lesions that cannot be completely removed by surgery, radiotherapy can be added after surgery.

(4) For patients whose recurrent lesions are confined to the pelvic or abdominal cavity, surgery should be performed again to remove the metastatic lesions and then radiotherapy should be added if possible.

(5) Radiation therapy alone can be used for those who are not suitable for surgery.

The above article has given you a detailed introduction to the treatment methods for abnormal vaginal bleeding. I believe that everyone has a relatively preliminary understanding. Therefore, in addition to working hard for your career in life, you should pay more attention to your physical health.
