How to treat chronic cervicitis with squamous epithelial hyperplasia

How to treat chronic cervicitis with squamous epithelial hyperplasia

Some diseases are chronic, and some are temporary. Chronic cervicitis with drapey epithelial hyperplasia is a chronic disease. It is usually manifested by inflammation in the uterus and abnormal secretions, which can cause changes in the menstrual cycle every month. This will have a certain impact on pregnancy. How to treat chronic cervicitis with squamous epithelial hyperplasia?

However, if there is contact bleeding, it should be taken seriously. Glandular squamous epithelial hyperplasia and squamous cell proliferation means that the external os of the cervix is the junction of squamous epithelium and columnar epithelium. With the influence of hormonal changes in each menstrual cycle, there will be periodic changes, that is, there will be alternation of squamous epithelium and columnar epithelium. Squamous changes are also a benign change caused by inflammation. In short, it is not a serious disease. In layman's terms, it's just that the cervix is a little inflamed. However, treatment should be given. If left untreated, the possibility of cancer will increase.

1. The electric ironing technique uses the iron head to contact the eroded surface to coagulate the tissue and form a scab. The scab begins to fall off after about two weeks, and it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks for the wound to heal. The operation should be performed 3 to 5 days after the end of menstruation. Do not use if you have adnexitis. After treatment, leucorrhea may temporarily increase or cause bleeding. If there is a lot of bleeding, use sterile gauze to apply pressure to stop the bleeding and remove it after 24 hours. The disadvantage is that scar contraction may sometimes lead to cervical stenosis.

2. Cryotherapy uses a liquid nitrogen rapid cooling device. The probe is placed on the eroded surface for 1 to 3 minutes, and then removed after natural rewarming, causing the diseased tissue to freeze and necrotize. A lot of watery discharge may occur 2 to 3 weeks after treatment. The advantage is that bleeding and cervical stenosis occur less frequently.

3. Laser therapy: The laser carbonizes and forms scabs on the eroded tissue, and the healing process is the same as the previous two treatment methods.

The above are several different treatment methods. For many patients, there is no clear understanding of metal in the electroironing procedure. This is a surgical treatment method. It has great advantages, but it also brings many sequelae. So I hope everyone will be cautious in choosing the treatment method and choose a scientific and reasonable treatment method.
