About skin care during menstruation

About skin care during menstruation

During menstruation, it is always the most troublesome period for older women and younger women. Various discomforts will occur in the body, which are obviously reflected on the skin. Many ugly pimples will grow on the face consciously or unconsciously. But these are unavoidable. But what we can do is to take care of our skin, let’s take a look below!

1. Pay attention to rest and ensure adequate sleep.

Cleanse your skin 2 to 3 times a day with warm water. The cleansing products should be mild and preferably have a certain degreasing effect. You can also apply a layer of essence to balance oil secretion on the T-zone where there is more oil. Because the skin becomes more sensitive during menstruation and is prone to allergic reactions, you should avoid using too much cosmetics.

2. The skin is easily affected by ultraviolet rays during this period, so sun protection is particularly important.

3. Use cold cream to massage around the eyes every night. Gently draw circles around the eyes, then lightly tap the eye sockets with your fingers and press the acupoints on the eye sockets. Wash off the cold cream after the massage. If your eyelids are swollen, soak two cotton pads in tea, then apply them on your eyelids and remove them after 10 minutes. This can eliminate eye fatigue, puffiness and dark circles during menstruation.

4. In addition to facial skin, body skin should also be cared for during menstruation, and shower lotion should contain moisturizing ingredients.

5. Maintaining a stable emotion and a good mood is the most effective way to care for your skin. At the same time, do some aerobic exercises that can promote metabolism to avoid gaining weight unknowingly during this period.

6. In addition to external nourishment, internal regulation is more important. Therefore, a reasonable diet during menstruation is the most critical factor in skin care. During this period, you should consume a rich and balanced diet and drink plenty of water to replenish the body's nutrients and blood volume. Special reminder: Blood will flow recklessly when it encounters heat, so during menstruation, you should avoid smoking, drinking, and spicy and hot foods, such as chili peppers, onions, garlic, pepper, ginger, cinnamon, and barbecued and fried foods. When blood encounters cold, it will coagulate, which is not conducive to the smooth flow of menstrual blood. Therefore, during menstruation, you should avoid eating raw, cold and cold foods, such as various cold drinks, cold dishes, raw fruits and so on. Blood contracts when it meets acid, and sour taste is not conducive to the smooth flow of menstrual blood. Therefore, you should eat less sour foods during menstruation, such as various sauerkraut, plums, prunes, green plums, lemons, etc. During menstruation, women's body and face will have slight edema, so don't eat too salty food.

The most important thing during menstruation is to keep a good mood. When you are in a good mood, your skin will naturally get better. If you have trouble keeping your mood happy, then try these skin care methods! There are 360 ways, and all of them are feasible. So here I hope that women will have excellent skin during menstruation.
