Therefore, we recommend that female friends must pay attention to protecting their uterus in daily life. Once a uterine disease occurs, it should be treated in time. Rectal endometriosis is a type of uterine disease. Below we will introduce to you the clinical manifestations of rectal endometriosis. Rectal endometriosis has the common symptoms of endometriosis plus intestinal symptoms. 1. Abnormal menstruation About 80% of patients have menstrual abnormalities, mainly manifested as dysmenorrhea, excessive menstrual flow or irregular menstruation. ① Dysmenorrhea: It is secondary, that is, dysmenorrhea occurs several years after menarche and worsens year by year. It can radiate to the vagina, perineum, anus or legs. It is most severe the day before menstruation and the pain disappears completely after menstruation. The pain is mainly caused by edema of the ectopic endometrium before menstruation, menstrual bleeding, irritation or pulling of surrounding tissues. ② Excessive or irregular menstruation is related to the invasion and destruction of the ovarian stroma by the endometrium, severe adhesions around the ovaries, inability to ovulate, and ovarian hormone secretion disorders. 2. Pain during sexual intercourse It is more obvious before menstruation and is mostly located deep in the vagina. As a result, the patient refuses sexual life and becomes sexually apathetic, which reduces the chances of conception. This may be related to the cervix being touched during sexual intercourse, causing the uterus to move and stimulate the congested pelvic peritoneum. 3. Infertility 30% to 50% of patients have primary or secondary infertility, and 30% to 50% of infertile patients have ectopic lesions during laparoscopic examination. Infertility is related to factors such as fallopian tube obstruction, ovulation disorders, gamete or fertilized egg transport disorders, ovarian tissue compression, corpus luteum insufficiency, unruptured follicle luteinization syndrome, follicle maturation and egg fertilization disorders, implantation disorders, and the existence of fallopian tube and intra-abdominal microenvironment that is harmful to gametes. 4. Intestinal symptoms In the early stages of colorectal involvement, there may be intestinal symptoms such as pain during defecation, abdominal discomfort, and diarrhea. When the lesions are large or invade the intestinal mucosa, symptoms such as constipation and bloody stools may occur. It is often cyclical, worsening one day before or during menstruation, and sometimes there is no cycle in the bloody stool. Advanced patients may develop complete intestinal obstruction. In the above article, we introduced the importance of the uterus to female friends. Female friends need to pay attention to the health of the uterus in daily life. Once the symptoms of rectal endometriosis appear, they must be dealt with in time. The above article introduces the clinical manifestations of rectal endometriosis in detail. |
