How to choose medication for vulvar itching

Apply the medicine vaginally, once a night, 0.2-0.4g each time, and repeat the above treatment 3 days after the next menstruation. If the test is negative for 3 consecutive times, it is considered cured. Sexual intercourse is prohibited during the treatment period, and the medicine is not taken during the menstrual period.

2. Fungal vaginitis:

Wash the vulva with 4% soda water or 1/2000 Sanisol solution, then apply the medicine. 4% clotrimazole ointment and nystatin ointment are both effective. Apply the medicine for 7 consecutive nights, and repeat once 3 days after the next menstruation, and repeat 3 times in total. If the vaginal discharge test is negative for 3 consecutive times, it is considered cured.

3. Symptomatic treatment:

In case of acute inflammation, 1% levofloxacin plus 1% rivanol solution can be used, or the vulva can be washed with chlorhexidine or complex iodine, and 40% zinc oxide ointment can be applied after washing. Chronic itching can be applied with dexamethasone emulsion.

4. Chinese medicine external washing:

Cnidium monnieri 15g, Stemona tuberosa 15g, White thin peel 15g, Hibiscus bark 15g, Sophora flavescens 15g decoct in water for external washing or sitz bath, 1-2 times a day.

Life care:

During the treatment, pay attention to menstrual hygiene and keep the vulva clean and dry. Avoid scratching, washing with hot water and using soap. Use potassium permanganate solution for sitting bath when infected. The underwear should be breathable and loose. Avoid alcohol and spicy or allergic food. If there is no improvement, go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment immediately.
