Normal ovulation basal body temperature chart

Because after ovulation, a woman's uterus and ovaries will metabolize estrogen, and estrogen can increase the basic body temperature by 0.3 to 0.5 degrees Celsius. Therefore, generally after ovulation, the basic body temperature will rise. By measuring the ovulation temperature, you can check whether there is a normal ovulation period. And after ovulation, the body temperature will remain high during the ovulation period, but before the first menstruation, due to the withdrawal of estrogen and progesterone, the body temperature will drop during the ovulation period. Therefore, for women who have their periods during the normal ovulation period, their body temperature will be biphasic during the ovulation period.

Using ovulation body temperature to monitor ovulation is also a way to monitor ovulation in clinical medicine. The measurement of ovulation body temperature should be started when menstruation comes. The specific method is to keep quiet and inactive when you wake up in the morning, put the thermometer under your armpit, take out the thermometer after 5 minutes, and write down the actual temperature in a notebook, and do this until the next menarche.

If the body temperature during the ovulation period is biphasic, it means that there is ovulation. If the body temperature during the ovulation period is monophasic, it means that there is no ovulation. The so-called biphasic ovulation body temperature refers to the fact that the body temperature will rise during the ovulation period in the first half of the menstrual period, generally around 37°C. In clinical medicine, most of them exceed 36.8°C, and this high temperature situation will last for at least 12 days, indicating that ovulation has occurred.

The changes in a woman's body temperature during ovulation are as follows: 1. A woman's body temperature will drop to the lowest value during ovulation. This is because during ovulation, a woman's estrogen and progesterone levels drop rapidly, but progesterone has not yet secreted enough estrogen and estrogen, so a woman's body temperature during ovulation is the lowest. 2. After a girl ovulates, the levels of estrogen and progesterone metabolized by the corpus luteum begin to rise, and the level of estrogen increases rapidly and gradually reaches a peak. Estrogen can act on women's specific immune nerve center, causing women's body temperature to rise, increasing by 0.3-0.5℃ within 2-3 days.
