6 signs of good kidney health, how many do you have?

1. No swelling when getting up early

Healthy people usually do not have swelling when they wake up in the morning. Once the excretion function of the kidneys is greatly reduced, sodium and water will be retained in the body, which will lead to symptoms such as swelling of the eyelids and lower limbs or effusion in the chest and abdominal cavities. This is obviously different from the fact that healthy people do not have swelling when they wake up in the morning.

2. Energetic and not easily fatigued

The kidneys are the source of the body's vitality. Sufficient kidney qi can stimulate vitality and endurance, making people energetic and less prone to fatigue. On the contrary, insufficient kidney qi will lead to a decline in various functions of the human body, manifested as weakness in the limbs, sore waist and legs, fatigue, and even sexual dysfunction such as impotence and premature ejaculation.

3. Urine is clear and has no odor

Urine is the main excretion of the kidneys and can reflect their working condition. Normal urine is light yellow or colorless, clear and transparent with no odor, with a daily urine volume of 1000-2000 ml and 0-2 urinations per night. If the urine is turbid, foamy, dark in color, has hematuria, abnormal urine volume, frequent urination, urgency, or pain when urinating, it indicates that the kidneys may have problems such as inflammation, stones, infection, or tumors, and you need to seek medical attention in time.

4. The hair is black and not easy to fall off

Hair is the external manifestation of the kidneys, and the two are closely connected. The kidneys can secrete melanin to promote hair growth and color. If the kidney essence is sufficient, the hair will be black, thick, and shiny, and will not easily fall off or turn white. On the contrary, insufficient kidney essence will cause the hair to become dry, sparse, gray, or even premature baldness, which is a manifestation of kidney deficiency.

5. Keeps skin moisturized and not prone to getting angry

The kidneys are responsible for water metabolism and can regulate water metabolism in the body, maintaining skin moisture and elasticity. If the kidneys are healthy, the skin will be moist, smooth, rosy and shiny, and less prone to dryness, wrinkles, spots, acne and other problems. On the contrary, if the kidneys are not functioning well, it will cause water metabolism disorders, causing the skin to lose moisture and nutrients, become dull, rough, and prone to dryness and heat.

6. Normal blood pressure

The kidneys play an important role in regulating blood pressure. Impaired kidney function may lead to abnormally high blood pressure, and high blood pressure will further aggravate kidney damage, forming a vicious cycle.
