For people who are prone to motion sickness, Xie Chuncheng introduced some precautions before traveling: "Don't eat too much or greasy food 2 hours before taking public transportation. You can eat more fruits, pickles and spicy food." You can take motion sickness medicine or use motion sickness patches 1-1.5 hours before departure, or prevent motion sickness by drinking some ginger water and tangerine peel water in advance, or sticking fresh ginger slices to your navel.

During the trip, people who are prone to motion sickness should not read books or play with their mobile phones, because such highly focused behaviors may cause the vestibular nerve to lose its regulatory ability, which in turn leads to motion sickness. Try to choose activities that help distract attention, such as chatting and listening to music, to pass the time. When riding in a vehicle and sitting, keep your head close to the fixed back of the chair or other objects to avoid large swings. You can close your eyes as much as possible, or look at the horizon and the distance at a horizontal height.

If you feel dizzy, nauseous, or sweating during your trip, how can you quickly relieve the symptoms? Xie Chuncheng suggested that it is best to temporarily leave the current environment, such as parking the car in a safe area, getting off the car to rest for a while, and breathing some fresh air, which can often greatly improve motion sickness symptoms. If you are on an airplane or train and cannot temporarily change the environment, you can also lie on your back with your eyes closed to relieve the symptoms.

In addition, you can also eat some sour snacks such as bayberry and hawthorn, use the thumbs of both hands to draw circles on the temples for 2-3 minutes, or apply a little cooling oil on the forehead and philtrum. "If you really feel like vomiting, you don't have to force yourself to endure it, just vomit as naturally as possible." Xie Chuncheng said.
