Menopause, also known as female menopausal syndrome (MPS), refers to a group of syndromes characterized by autonomic nervous system disorders and neuropsychological conditions caused by fluctuations or decreases in sex hormones before and after menopause in women. According to relevant data: The onset age of menopause varies from person to person, and can start at 40 years old and last for about 20 years. Menopause is divided into three stages: premenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. In the early summer of 2001, I was 45 years old and three months into my menopause. I suddenly felt hot all over, sweating, dizzy, and having trouble sleeping at night. I thought about it and found the following reasons: 1. Depression after divorce 2. Moving into a new house (strong smell of formaldehyde) 3. Irregular diet, like spicy and fried food 4. Retreating to the second line and having nothing to do Many factors caused my immunity to decline and I entered menopause early. However, I didn't know the word "menopause" at that time until my insomnia became more and more serious and my weight dropped by more than ten pounds. My family was worried that I had a serious illness and urged me to be hospitalized for examination without delay. I was admitted to Fuzhou Municipal Hospital. After a comprehensive examination at the hospital, no organic lesions were found. The doctor prescribed some drugs to enhance my immunity. But there was no improvement in a week, and later I couldn't bear the nutrient solution and had tachycardia. That day, I fell asleep after pulling out the infusion bottle, and was awakened by a nightmare and broke into a cold sweat. I immediately got up and found the attending doctor to ask for discharge. The doctor had no idea what to do in the past few days, so he signed to let me be discharged. After I walked out of the hospital gate, I went straight to my mother's house. I took Chinese medicine to regulate my body and rest. From the Chinese medicine doctor, I learned that it was menopausal syndrome. From then on, I followed Chinese medicine like a shadow. The first three packs of medicine had some effect, but the last three packs did not work. I was desperate and tried all kinds of treatments, changing doctors in a variety of ways. No matter who said which doctor was good, I would run to register for treatment. I went to the municipal hospital, the municipal Chinese medicine hospital, the regional hospital and private clinics to see doctors. I took a lot of medicine, but the menopausal symptoms not only did not disappear, but became more and more severe. I began to have mental symptoms, extreme panic and fear, mental confusion and suspicion. I dared not stay at home alone, and followed my mother to the mahjong hall, and I was restless and upset. The more I wanted to get better quickly, the worse my physical condition became. I had no choice but to stop taking Chinese medicine and just endure it at home. I was particularly confused during that period, counting the days like a zombie. My sister heard that Jingxin oral liquid is good, so she bought me a box to try. It really worked and my sleep improved. Then I took a few more boxes, and my restlessness gradually improved. My anxiety or the "boom boom" of my heartbeat when I was quiet was also relieved. My health has been fluctuating for nearly a year. One day, I met a classmate who works in a hospital on the street. She told me that menopause is caused by estrogen deficiency, which leads to autonomic nerve disorder, thus causing endocrine disorders, poor body metabolism and poor qi function. I can go to the hospital for physical therapy and massage to clear the meridian blockage. It made sense, so I didn't dare to neglect it and went to the hospital again. I tried physical therapy and massage for the first time. I felt really good after one hour, and my body was much more relaxed. After a course of ten days, the pain in my cervical spine almost disappeared. During the chat, the physical therapist's words opened a new chapter for me to conquer menopause. She said: Physical therapy and massage are only auxiliary treatments, and menopause depends on self-regulation. The most important thing is to relax your mind, exercise, and adjust your diet. After one course of treatment, I did not continue, but insisted on running in the morning and dancing in the park at night. My diet was mainly light, with one to two taels of lean meat stewed in water every day, and a little cuttlefish and ophiopogon japonicus added alternately. After a month, I was surprised to find that it was more effective than taking medicine! It really proved the saying: medicine is three-point poison, try not to take medicine if you can avoid it. Occasionally, some menopausal symptoms appeared, but I ignored them and passed them. This situation lasted for more than two years. At the end of 2005, my daughter-in-law gave birth to a fat boy. I took care of him throughout the whole process, exhausted but happy. After the baby was one month old, I took care of him 24 hours a day and did all the housework myself. I drank the milk left by the baby. I also swallowed the chicken soup that my daughter-in-law couldn't finish, mouthful by mouthful, and nothing happened. I was surprised that the symptoms of menopause disappeared without my noticing. Now, more than 20 years have passed, and I deeply feel that menopause is not a disease. Early prevention, change the unreasonable diet structure, and get the body moving. Another important point is the love and care of family members to smoothly go through menopause. What is a disease? It is not a disease, but it is invisible and intangible, torturing people in every way. Only those who have experienced it know the pain, which cannot be expressed in words, and it is not an exaggeration to describe it as heartbroken. If it is not understood and tolerated, it is common to pay the price of life for it. Therefore, menopausal syndrome should not be underestimated. Menopause is a specific transition period in life, namely: a period of degenerative change. According to statistics from the World Health Organization: by 2030, there will be about 290 million menopausal women in China, and 84% of menopausal women will experience at least one typical menopausal-related symptom. Therefore, the promotion of scientific knowledge about menopause is very important. Through this corner, I strongly urge female compatriots, no matter how old they are, to take positive actions and pay attention to the scientific knowledge of women's menopause, so that they can suffer as little or no pain as possible under the guidance of a professional team. The rising red sun and the morning glow are undoubtedly a beautiful landscape. However, the setting sun and the evening glow, which illuminates half of the sky, are also beautiful. Dear women, please live in the present and cherish what is in front of you. Tomorrow will be better! |
