Turtle shell glue : a solid glue made by boiling and concentrating tortoise shells.

Nature and flavor: salty, dry, cool;

Meridians: Liver, kidney and heart meridians.

Efficacy: Nourishes yin, nourishes blood, and stops bleeding.

Indications: Hot flashes due to yin deficiency, night sweats due to bone steaming, soreness and weakness of waist and knees, sallow complexion due to blood deficiency, metrorrhagia and leukorrhea.

Turtle shell glue : solid glue made by boiling and concentrating the turtle's plastron.

Nature and flavor: salty, flat

Meridians: Liver, Kidney, Heart

Efficacy: Similar to tortoise shell, but with stronger tonic effect. It can benefit kidney yin, open up the Ren meridian, nourish yin and suppress yang, benefit the kidney and strengthen bones, and replenish blood and stop bleeding.

Indications: Yin deficiency fever, bone steaming and night sweats, blood heat and metrorrhagia, and dystocia.

Deer antler glue : a solid glue made by boiling and concentrating deer antlers.

Nature and flavor: sweet, salty, warm;

Meridians: Kidney and Liver meridians.

Efficacy: Warms and nourishes the liver and kidneys, replenishes essence and blood.

Indications: Coldness of waist and knees due to liver and kidney deficiency, impotence and spermatorrhea, emaciation due to consumptive disease, metrorrhagia, blood in stool and urine, swelling and pain of genital acne. It is not suitable for people with yin deficiency and hyperactivity of fire.

The above three medicines should be dissolved and taken orally.

Melt and take : This means that in order to prevent gelatinous drugs and highly viscous and easily soluble drugs from sticking to the pan or other drugs and affecting the decoction, they are dissolved separately and then taken together with other decocted drugs. There are two methods to choose from:

① Heat and dissolve it with water or rice wine, then take it with the decocted medicine.

②It can be put into the decoction of other medicines, heated and dissolved, and then taken together
