Moxibustion warming uterus parts diagram

Moxibustion warming uterus parts diagram

Moxibustion has a very good effect on treating uterine cold. There are five main locations for moxibustion to warm the uterus. The first is Guanyuan acupoint, which is three inches below the navel. The second is Shenque, which is located at the navel and is a key point on the Ren Meridian of the body. The third one is the Mingmen point on the back, which is located between the transverse processes of the second and third intervertebral discs. The fourth one is the Shenshu point, which is 3 cm away from the center line of the back on both sides. The fifth is the Qihai point, which is located in the lower abdomen of the body, 3/10 of the middle (from the navel position) of the line connecting the navel and the upper toe bones.

Moxibustion is used to treat symptoms of uterine yin deficiency and internal heat, which generally include cold pain in the lower abdomen, scanty menstrual flow, light menstrual blood, menstrual pain, prolonged menstruation, or early menstruation. Generally, 2 to 3 times a week is enough. At the same time, the patient's physical condition should also be taken into consideration. If the patient has more obvious symptoms of yin deficiency and internal heat, with symptoms such as fear of cold, cold limbs, drowsiness, fatigue, chest tightness, shortness of breath, laziness to speak, etc., the frequency of moxibustion can be increased to once a day, but the duration should not be too long. Generally, after two weeks, it can be reduced to 2-3 times a week.

Moxibustion has the effect of warming the uterus. It can be used to treat female infertility caused by uterine coldness, as well as some gynecological diseases, such as inflammation of the uterus, vagina, and adnex, as well as other problems, which can be treated with moxibustion as an auxiliary treatment. Acupoints commonly used for moxibustion are Shenque, Guanyuan, Qihai, Zhong, Sanyinjiao, and Shenshu.

In order to improve the actual effect, scar moxibustion can be used to stimulate women, which will have a more ideal effect of warming the uterus. You can also use Lute moxibustion or garlic moxibustion. In clinical medicine, warming the palace with moxa is best done under the guidance of a doctor and combined with acupuncture, so that the effect will be more certain.
