Qingming Festival is the fifth solar term in spring. It is named because of the clear weather and bright scenery during the festival. During this season, the sun is shining, the grass grows, and the flowers bloom, and the nature is full of vitality. Qingming Festival is also known as the Outing Festival, the Qingming Festival, the March Festival, and the Ancestor Worship Festival. Tomb sweeping and ancestor worship and outings are the two major customs of Qingming Festival.

Spring is the season for growth, and the liver qi of the human body reaches its peak during the Qingming Festival. If you do not pay attention to the regulation of emotions at this time, it will affect the liver's function of dispersing qi, hinder the growth of yang qi, and easily cause dizziness, headaches, and fatigue. "During the Qingming Festival, it rains heavily, and pedestrians on the road are about to die." People worship and sweep tombs, mourn their relatives, and are moved by the scene, which makes people more likely to have liver depression and qi stagnation. Especially for the elderly with poor health, they must control their emotions and not be too sad or excited, otherwise it is easy to cause cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. In addition to going to bed early and getting up early, you can also do self-massage frequently. It is recommended to do the following actions to reduce the risk of disease.

1. Rub the chest: Use the thenar of your hand to place it on the point between the two breasts on the chest, and rub it repeatedly for 5 minutes. By stimulating the Tanzhong point, it can promote the flow of qi, relieve liver depression, and relieve depression.

2. Rub the ribs: Place your hands on both sides of the ribs, rub from the armpits to the navel, and rub repeatedly for 5 minutes. By stimulating the Riyue point, Xielie point, Qimen point, Tianchi point and other acupoints, it can relieve liver depression, regulate qi and resolve phlegm.

3. Rub the wrist: rub the Neiguan point (three fingers above the wrist crease) in a clockwise direction for 3-5 minutes, until a local soreness and swelling sensation appears. It can calm the mind, harmonize the stomach and reduce reflux, expand the chest and regulate qi, and calm and relieve pain.

4. Hold the neck: Hold the neck with one hand for 5 minutes, and press the two Fengchi points with the thumb and index finger appropriately until you feel soreness and swelling. This can open the orifices, activate blood circulation, and clear the head.

5. Press the top of the head: The intersection of the line between the two ears and the midline is the Baihui point. Place the thumb, index finger or palm on the Baihui point and massage it clockwise and counterclockwise for about 3 minutes to calm the wind and refresh the brain, and clear the palace orifices.

Going outing not only helps the body to get rid of the old and take in the new, and helps the blood flow smoothly, but also helps eliminate depression and adjust your mood. We can also do Ba Duan Jin, Tai Chi, jogging, etc. to regulate the qi, improve blood supply, and get rid of physical discomfort. However, when going out for exercise, you should replenish water and wipe off sweat in time, add clothes in the morning and evening, and "cover up in spring" appropriately to avoid colds caused by the invasion of wind and cold.
