What kind of body type is prone to gynecological diseases?

In life, there are a lot of women suffering from gynecological diseases, but there are always some women who have never suffered from gynecological diseases before or after marriage. People can't help but wonder if they have any special prevention methods. In fact, from a medical point of view, there are indeed some women who have stronger constitutions and are less likely to get sick, including gynecological diseases. On the other hand, what kind of body type is more likely to get gynecological diseases?

Gynecological experts point out that there are actually many reasons why women suffer from gynecological diseases, and it cannot be said that it is because of men that women get sick. Of course, in some cases, such as when men do not pay attention to personal hygiene, it is possible that they transmit germs to women during sexual intercourse, leading to some gynecological diseases.

Why are women's reproductive systems more prone to disease while men's are less likely to suffer from it? This is mainly due to the differences in the structure of the male and female reproductive systems. The male reproductive system and urinary system share a channel, the urethra, which is connected to the outside world, but not to the pelvic and abdominal cavities. The female reproductive system is completely separated from the urinary system. The outside of the reproductive system is connected to the outside world through the vaginal opening, and the inside of the reproductive system is connected to the pelvic and abdominal cavities through the fallopian tube openings. On the one hand, the vaginal opening is large, and it is easy for bacteria from outside to enter and induce inflammation; on the other hand, there are many pathogenic bacteria in the vagina itself. When the immunity is good, everything is fine, but when the immunity is reduced, these pathogenic bacteria will cause trouble and cause inflammation.

Abnormal leucorrhea indicates inflammation. After women enter puberty, transparent and colorless secretions sometimes appear on their underwear. This is the influence of the large amount of estrogen secreted after the ovaries develop, which is medically called leucorrhea.

It can moisten or lubricate the vagina. Vaginal secretions increase whenever it is stimulated, a few days before and after menstruation, ovulation, and pregnancy. This is a normal physiological phenomenon. Normal leucorrhea is colorless, transparent and has no odor. If the amount of vaginal discharge increases, becomes cheese or tofu dregs-like, yellow or green, has a fishy smell, etc., it is abnormal vaginal discharge, which is usually a sign of genital tract inflammation.

Reminder: There are many reasons for reproductive tract inflammation in women, but it is also related to sexual life. For example, the man does not wash his hands when caressing with his hands, and his nails are too long to harbor dirt; both parties or one of them does not pay attention to cleaning the lower body before intercourse, especially the man has poor hygiene habits; the man suffers from phimosis or foreskin is too long, and is lazy to urinate and clean after intercourse, etc., which are all important reasons for abnormal leucorrhea in women. Preventive measures should be taken to address the above reasons.

Chronic cervicitis

Data show that the incidence of chronic cervicitis in married or sexually active women is as high as over 50%. Due to the barrier function of the hymen, it is difficult for bacteria to invade unmarried women, so cervicitis rarely occurs. After sexual intercourse, the vagina is relatively open, giving bacteria an opportunity to take advantage.

A normal and hygienic sex life will not cause any harm to women. Women's vaginal secretions also have a self-cleaning function. However, if sexual intercourse is not done cleanly and hygienically, bacteria may invade the vagina, increasing the likelihood of women suffering from genital inflammation.

At present, due to premature sexual activity, too many sexual partners and other reasons, the incidence of cervical cancer is tending to be younger. Medical research has shown that because the lower reproductive tract and cervical epithelium are not yet fully developed, early marriage (marriage before the age of 20), premature sexual activity (first sexual activity before the age of 18), and too many sexual partners will cause the cervix of young women to be repeatedly stimulated by a variety of pathogenic bacteria and viruses in the smegma for a long time, leading to chronic cervicitis and eventually turning into cervical cancer.

Reminder: Long foreskin and dirty foreskin are breeding grounds for bacteria and viruses, which can easily be transmitted to the other party through sexual intercourse. Early circumcision and condom use can prevent cervical cancer. Men and women should take a shower and clean their genitals before having sex to reduce the chance of infection. Men should turn over the foreskin, especially to clean the dirt inside the coronal sulcus of the glans penis.

Pelvic inflammatory disease

Pelvic inflammatory disease refers to inflammation of the female internal reproductive organs, including the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and their surrounding connective tissue, and pelvic peritoneum. Pelvic inflammatory disease rarely occurs in young girls who have not menstruated, unmarried girls who have not had sex, or postmenopausal women, but the incidence rate is very high in women of childbearing age. There are many causes of pelvic inflammatory disease, mainly postpartum or post-abortion infection, or intrauterine surgery such as curettage and fallopian tube insufflation. However, many cases of pelvic inflammatory disease are also easily caused by poor menstrual hygiene, especially sexual intercourse during menstruation, and infection with sexually transmitted diseases.

People with a history of unclean sexual life, multiple sexual partners, and starting sexual intercourse at a young age are more likely to be infected with sexually transmitted diseases, which may lead to pelvic inflammatory disease. Therefore, pelvic inflammatory disease mostly occurs in sexually active and menstruating women. As premarital sex increases, the incidence of pelvic inflammatory disease also increases.

Reminder: Women should learn to protect themselves. If you are not planning to have a baby, you must take adequate contraceptive measures. Women who have repeated abortions are prone to inflammation of the reproductive system and even infertility. You should avoid overexerting during menstruation, pay attention to nutritional supplements, and eat less or even no raw or cold food.
