Ministry of Transport: Basic Operation Situation of Online Car-hailing Industry in September 2022

According to the online car-hailing regulatory information interaction system, as of September 30 , 2022 , a total of 286 online car-hailing platform companies nationwide have obtained online car-hailing platform operating licenses, an increase of 4 from the previous month; a total of 4.816 million online car-hailing driver licenses and 1.987 million vehicle transport licenses have been issued in various places, an increase of 2.2% and 2.5% from the previous month respectively . The online car-hailing regulatory information interaction system received a total of 554 million order information in September , a decrease of 21.2% from the previous month . Judging from the situation this month, there are the following characteristics:

1. Among the top 10 online ride-hailing platforms in terms of order volume, the one with the highest order compliance rate is Ruqi Travel, and the one with the lowest is Hua Xiaozhu Travel. Among the top 10 platforms in terms of order volume, the order compliance rate (the proportion of orders for which both drivers and vehicles are licensed) is from high to low, namely Ruqi Travel, Xiangdao Travel, Xiehua Travel, T3 Travel, Shouqi Car-hailing, Wanshun Taxi, Cao Cao Travel, Meituan Taxi, Didi Travel, and Hua Xiaozhu Travel. The top three platforms with the highest order compliance rate growth this month are Xiehua Travel, Cao Cao Travel, and Wanshun Taxi; the bottom three platforms with the lowest order compliance rate growth are Meituan Taxi ( 0.9% ), Xiangdao Travel ( 0.8% ), and Ruqi Travel ( 0.2% ).

Among them, platforms that provide services to passengers and online car-hailing platform companies (commonly known as " aggregation platforms " ) completed 135 million orders, a decrease of 19.2% month-on-month . In terms of order compliance rate, the following are Ctrip Car, Meituan Taxi, Baidu Taxi, Didi Chuxing, AutoNavi Taxi, Tencent Travel, and Hua Xiaozhu Travel.

2. Among the major central cities, Hangzhou has the highest order compliance rate, while Shijiazhuang has the lowest. Among the major central cities, the order compliance rate is ranked from high to low as follows: Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Guiyang, Chongqing, Hefei, Lanzhou, Qingdao, Ningbo, Haikou, Nanjing, Fuzhou, Zhengzhou, Taiyuan, Nanning, Hohhot, Nanchang, Tianjin, Changsha, Chengdu, Wuhan, Changchun, Xining, Xi'an, Jinan, Yinchuan, Harbin, Shenyang, Shanghai, Dalian, Kunming, Beijing, Shijiazhuang. Among them, the order compliance rates of 18 cities including Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Guiyang, Chongqing, Hefei, Lanzhou, Qingdao, Ningbo, Haikou, Nanjing, Fuzhou, Zhengzhou, Taiyuan, Nanning, Hohhot, and Nanchang are all above 80% . The top three cities with the highest growth in order compliance rate this month are Guiyang, Chongqing and Shijiazhuang; the bottom three cities with the highest growth are Xiamen ( -2.3% ), Shenyang ( -2.9% ) and Hohhot ( -4.3% ).
