The participation rates of different income and gender groups are basically the same. Age has a certain impact on social media participation. Among netizens aged 16 to 34, 95% have at least one social media account, and the penetration rate decreases with age. In particular, the oldest group (55 to 64 years old) is 13 points lower than the youngest group, but the penetration rate is still 82%.
