Good Technology: iOS devices activated in Q4 2012 accounted for 71% of all currently activated devices

Good Technology's Q4 2012 report states that iOS devices accounted for 71% of all activated devices in the quarter, and the number is increasing at an annual rate of 71%. This means that eight out of every ten devices successfully activated worldwide are iOS devices. In comparison, the number of Android devices activated has been declining, from 29% to 22.7%.

Apple currently has a dominant position in this quarter. Although the iPhone 4 and 4S have begun to decline, the iPhone 5 has accounted for nearly one-third of the market. In comparison, only the Galaxy S III has a good activation performance in the Android camp, accounting for almost 6% of the activation market.
