Snappli: Survey shows only 4% of iOS 6 users are using Apple Maps

September 29, 2012, according to foreign media reports, Apple's iOS 6 Apple Maps application was criticized for various defects as soon as it was launched, so much so that Apple had to apologize for it. The latest survey data from Snappli shows that 5 days after the launch of Apple Maps, only 4% of iOS 6 users are still using Apple Maps.

Snappli is a company that helps users compress and optimize mobile data and videos to save traffic. 64% of the company's US and UK users have upgraded to iOS 6 in the past few weeks. For this reason, Snappli conducted a survey on the use of Apple Maps by 5,000 users after upgrading the product, and obtained the following statistical results:

Before upgrading to iOS 6, 25% of users used Google Maps at least once a day. After they upgraded to iOS 6, the proportion of users using Apple Maps was 35%, but after 5 days, the proportion of iOS 6 users using Apple Maps dropped sharply to 4%.

In other words, only 4% of iOS users are using Apple Maps now, and this proportion is still declining.
