Survey shows Android users are catching up with iOS in willingness to spend money on apps

One of the impressions of the Android platform is that pirated applications are popular and users are reluctant to buy programs. However, the latest survey found that this trend has changed. Android users have also begun to consume on Google Play and support high-quality programs.

The survey found that the habits of Android users in purchasing apps have changed significantly in the past year. Last year, 12% of Android users did not purchase any apps at all, and only 10% had more than 20 payment programs. In contrast, 39% of iOS users had more than 20 payment programs, and only 3% had none at all. This year, 19% of Android users have purchased apps, and only 6% have not purchased any.

Since the launch of Android 4.0 ICS, Google has clearly pointed out the design direction of applications. The quality of Android applications has also improved significantly recently. Many high-quality applications are not only launched on iOS, but also on Android. These are the reasons why users are willing to spend money.
