Ericsson Consumer Lab: Report shows that Android smartphones have a 31% market share in Southeast Asia

A report from Ericsson Consumer Lab shows that Android smartphones currently have a 31% market share in Southeast Asian markets (Australia, New Zealand, etc.), while iOS and Blackberry smartphones have a market share of 19% and 10% respectively.

However, if you look closely, you will find that the mobile operating system in Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam is not Android .

Singapore users like Apple products, and almost half of them use Apple smartphones, while Android has a market share of 29%. It is worth noting that Android and iOS users in Indonesia only account for 10% and 2% respectively, while Blackberry has a market share of 29%, followed by Symbian with a market share of 27%.

In the Vietnamese market, Android and iOS are evenly matched, with market shares of 21% each, while Symbian ranks first with a market share of 26%, which also shows that Nokia and Symbian system are still the dominant players in the current market.
