Correct sleeping position for breastfeeding mothers

Breastfeeding mothers may produce more breast milk and may not sleep comfortably. Sleeping posture is very important for a person. Mothers who are breastfeeding must have a good sleeping posture, which is very effective in improving the mother's sleep quality. So what should be the sleeping position of a breastfeeding mother?

If the mother has a lot of milk, it is recommended to choose a lying position to sleep, so that the breast milk will not easily flow out and get on the mattress. Be sure to avoid sleeping on the side for too long, because when the mother sleeps on her side, her breasts will be squeezed and then the breast milk will be discharged. And you should also choose a bra suitable for breastfeeding, because it can have a good supporting effect on the breasts.

If the mother does not have a lot of breast milk, she can choose an appropriate time to sleep on her side. But it is better to lie on your left side, because it can promote blood flow and increase blood supply to the baby.

Mothers should not choose to sleep on their stomachs when breastfeeding, as this can easily squeeze their breasts, causing breast milk to leak out, and in severe cases may also cause mastitis. And sleeping on your stomach may also crush your baby.

Of course, no one can maintain the same sleeping position all night long, and the most important thing is that the mother sleeps comfortably. It is best for the husband to be by his mother's side to help correct her sleeping position.
