First of all, the higher the degree of myopia, the more cost-effective the myopia surgery is. Instead, it is determined by choosing the surgical procedure that suits you based on your overall eye conditions.

There are different types of myopia surgery procedures. After preoperative examination, those who need to remove their glasses may only be suitable for some procedures, and even a very small number may not be suitable for myopia surgery.

After the postoperative examination, the appropriate surgical procedure can be determined. Whether it is 400 degrees or 700 degrees, if the procedure is the same, the price is the same.

The saying that "the higher the degree, the more cost-effective the surgery" may be due to the fact that patients with high myopia feel much clearer after surgery, while patients with low myopia do not have such a strong visual contrast before and after surgery, which leads to such a misunderstanding. Some people also think that the higher the degree, the more cost-effective the surgery is for the same surgery fee. This concept is one-sided.

Will myopia relapse after surgery?

Some patients are very conflicted about whether to undergo laser surgery for myopia. They are mainly worried about the rebound of myopia after surgery. Director Xie Xiuli reminds that in order to achieve better surgical results and prevent the rebound of myopia after surgery, patients should pay attention to the following aspects after myopia laser surgery:

1. Take a rest after the operation. After the laser surgery for myopia, try to rest at home or in the hospital for a day. Do not wash your face directly with water. You can use a wet towel to wipe your face and the area around your eyes. Do not press your eyes when sleeping. If you need to do outdoor activities, remember to wear sunglasses.

2. Develop good eye habits. It is not recommended to overuse your eyes after surgery. After reading books or using electronic devices for 40-50 minutes, you should look at distant scenery for about 3-5 minutes to relax your eyes.

3. Carry eye drops with you. When your eyes feel foreign or tired, do not rub your eyes with your hands, especially the area from the upper eyelid to the eyebrow, to avoid inflammation or infection. You can use eye drops and artificial tears according to the doctor's instructions to relieve eye discomfort.

4. Avoid foreign matter and dirty water from entering the eyes. After surgery, the eyes are relatively fragile, so be careful not to let dirty water or cleaning agents flow into the eyes when cleaning. If you want to clean eye secretions, you can use a clean cotton swab to gently wipe the sides of the eye corners to wipe the dirt out of the eyes.

Many people may have seen their friends undergo laser myopia surgery or ICL lens implantation and thought the results were good, so they also want to do the same procedure. However, everyone's eye condition is different, and only after a detailed preoperative examination can we decide which surgical procedure is ultimately suitable.
