Several common office occupational diseases, have you been infected?

People who sit in offices for long periods of time are prone to a variety of occupational diseases.

Have you ever been hit by these office occupational diseases?

What are some ways to deal with this?

Neck, Shoulder and Wrist Syndrome:

It is caused by long-term use of computers, which causes high-intensity work on the wrists and fingers.

Neck: Cervical pain caused by neck muscle strain. Severe strain may compress the nerves in the later stages.

Relief methods: You can raise the computer screen by a few centimeters and raise your head instead of lowering it. If you stay in an air-conditioned room with low temperature for a long time, you can find a shawl to wrap around your neck and shoulders to prevent your neck from getting cold. In addition, if you sit for a long time, you should stand up and move around more often, and turn your head more often to achieve the purpose of relaxation.

Shoulders: If you sit in the office for a long time, your shoulder muscles will be tense, which can easily compress blood vessels, leading to insufficient blood supply and causing pain.

Relief method: You can do shoulder exercises: Stand naturally or sit upright on a stool, circle your left shoulder forward first, repeat about 10 times; do the same with your right shoulder, repeat about 10 times. Face forward, raise your left arm to the opposite side, stretch your five fingers as much as possible, bend your right arm, and stretch your arm downward; then raise your right arm to the opposite side in the same way as your left arm, and repeat this alternating motion about 10 times.

Wrist: Mouse hand is wrist pain caused by soft tissue. It is due to compression of the ulnar nerve in the wrist, which causes numbness of the patient's fingers, atrophy of the hand muscles, and difficulty picking up small objects.

Relief method: When using a mouse, do not let your arm hang in the air. Choose a mouse with a large arc and a wide contact surface. The height of the mouse should be lower than the height of the elbow when sitting. When there is pain, you can do some gentle hand exercises to relieve the pain. Rotating the wrist is one of the simple exercises. Rotating the wrist for about 2 minutes can exercise the wrist muscles and help blood circulation.

Computer eye disease:

This disease is not only caused by improper eye use due to long-term computer use, but also a manifestation of physical fatigue caused by high work pressure. It often manifests as blurred vision, decreased vision, eye interference, itching, burning, pain and photophobia.

Relief method: When using a computer, the screen should be at least 60 cm away. Relax your eyes by looking into the distance every 20-30 minutes. You can also take time to do exercises that alternate between looking far and near, which can keep the ciliary muscles and lens active. But the best way is to increase the time spent outdoors, which is the best way to relax your eyes.

Headache:

Buried in piles of documents in a closed office all day, tension, anxiety, stress and fatigue often cause headaches.

Relief method: Opening the indoor doors and windows appropriately and maintaining good ventilation is an effective way to prevent migraines. In addition, focusing your eyes on something for too long can also cause headaches. At this time, what you need is to give your eyes a good rest, which can also effectively prevent headaches.

It is not difficult to find that most of these office occupational diseases are caused by high work pressure, poor work habits and lack of exercise. Therefore, prevention of occupational diseases should start with developing good work habits and living habits.
