Fetal heartbeat and bleeding in early pregnancy

What is early pregnancy bleeding? Bleeding in early pregnancy is also called early pregnancy spotting, which refers to the appearance of a small amount of pink secretions in the vagina within 12 weeks of pregnancy, similar to bleeding before or after the menstrual period. The bleeding may be pink, bright red, or dark brown in color. About 1/4 of pregnant women will experience varying degrees of spotting in the early stages of pregnancy, and about half of those with spotting will eventually suffer a miscarriage. What exactly is going on with fetal bud and fetal heart bleeding in early pregnancy?

What is the reason for bleeding when there is a fetal bud and fetal heartbeat at 8 weeks of pregnancy?

In clinical medicine, bleeding is a common phenomenon in the 8th week of pregnancy. At this time, the test tube embryo already has a fetal heartbeat and a fetal heartbeat. There are probably three reasons for bleeding:

1. Bleeding at 8 weeks of pregnancy caused by conditions on the mother’s side is mainly caused by uterine disease or estrogen deficiency.

2. Bleeding at 8 weeks of pregnancy caused by the test tube embryo itself is mainly due to problems with the test tube embryo itself, such as hydatidiform mole, ectopic pregnancy, etc. If the problem is in these aspects, the situation is generally not optimistic.

3. Bleeding at 8 weeks of pregnancy caused by external stimulation. During pregnancy, the uterus and abdomen will be in a state of hematoma and will appear very sensitive. Sometimes even mild stimulation or slight exercise can cause bleeding.

There are three main reasons for early pregnancy bleeding:

1. Cervical disease

If a pregnant woman has cervical disease causing erosion before pregnancy, or has existing cervical polyps, then during pregnancy it is very likely that changes in growth hormone will cause the surface capillaries to rupture and bleed. Therefore, if a pregnant woman has vaginal bleeding in early pregnancy, a cervical examination should be performed.

2. Ectopic pregnancy

Ectopic pregnancy can also cause bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy, because the embryo implants outside the uterus and cannot provide sufficient nutrients to the embryo, causing the slowly growing sperm and egg to combine and cause the walls of the fallopian tubes to swell, which can lead to wall ruptures. Bleeding caused by ectopic pregnancy usually occurs at 7-8 weeks of pregnancy, accompanied by severe abdominal pain or intra-abdominal bleeding.

3. Hydatidiform mole

Pregnant women with hydatidiform mole may also experience pregnancy bleeding, accompanied by severe morning sickness or symptoms such as palpitations. Women who are under 20 or over 35, who have a history of miscarriage or hydatidiform mole, etc. should be careful about whether they will have a hydatidiform mole again.
