Stone women, nicknamed stone core, are discriminatory names used to refer to women with congenital genital malformations. In the eyes of outsiders, stone women are not real women at all.

In fact, from the outside, there is no difference between a barren girl and a normal girl. Not only are their intelligence and physical development normal, they also have female secondary sexual characteristics, and their breasts, ovaries, etc. also develop normally.

From a physiological point of view, there are also true and false stone women:

Pseudo-stone woman: The vaginal hymen is occluded or hypertrophied, or the vagina is blocked by the vaginal septum, but the vagina and uterus are fully developed organs.

True stone woman: The vagina and uterus may be underdeveloped or not developed at all.

There are two situations for real stone women:

One is the congenital abnormal development of the vagina, where the two sides of the vagina stick together in some places, making it unable to communicate with the vulva, which is called vaginal atresia or partial vaginal atresia;

The other is congenital absence of vagina. Some women will have a normal uterus development, while others will have no uterus.

But no matter whether they are real or fake barren women, they cannot conceive without any treatment. Therefore, most of them may be put in the embarrassing situation of being broken up in a relationship, being "returned" by the in-laws after marriage, being divorced, being cheated on...

Not only do they have to endure inner inferiority, but they also have to bear the pressure from their families.

As long as the hymen or diaphragm is cut, menstruation can occur normally and normal married life can be achieved. If the treatment is timely, the fertility of most people is also guaranteed.

Vaginal septum

It means that when the embryo develops, an additional "baffle" is added in the vagina, but whether there are clinical symptoms depends on whether there are small holes in the "baffle" (holes allow menstrual blood to flow out) and its position.

The diaphragm is located high: it will not affect sexual life, but it will affect the delivery of the fetus.

The septum is located in the lower part of the vagina: it affects sexual life.

Imperforate hymen

The appearance of the vulva is normal, but the hymen is completely without holes, like a tightly closed door. The normal hymen has holes in different shapes, and menstrual blood will flow out through the holes.

Hymen occlusion will hinder the discharge of menstrual blood, leading to pelvic blood accumulation and causing abdominal pain.

PS: If a girl has not had her first menstruation by the age of 15, and has periodic lower abdominal pain and a lump in the middle of the lower abdomen, it may be hymen occlusion and she should go to the hospital for medical treatment as soon as possible.

For barren women who have no vagina or vaginal atresia but a normal uterus, vaginal reshaping surgery can be performed, and they can have a normal sexual life after the surgery; for barren women who are congenitally without a uterus or have abnormal uterine structure, they can also have a sexual life after vaginal reshaping, but they will still be unable to conceive.
