1. Wash the peaches, then use a peeler to peel off the skin and soak them in light salt water to prevent oxidation of the peach flesh.

2. After peeling all the peaches, use a knife to cut them into pieces of any size you like. I usually cut one peach into 6 pieces, and 8 pieces for the larger ones. The flesh and core of the golden peach are not connected, so they are easy to separate.

3. Put the cut peaches in a glass bowl, and spread a layer of rock sugar on the bottom, or two layers of peaches and a layer of rock sugar, and be sure to put a layer of rock sugar on the top. Here I used two methods, one is to put a large glass basin into a steamer and steam it, the other is to put the peaches into a glass bottle, put fine sugar on the top, add 80% pure water, and steam it in a steam oven. After the two methods are done, there is no difference in the taste of the peaches. The white sugar melts faster and is more flavorful, and the rock sugar needs to be left for a few days for better taste.

4. Put the glass basin into the steamer, cover it with a lid, and steam for 15 minutes to melt the rock sugar. If you like to eat it soft, you can steam it for a few minutes longer. I like it slightly softer, so 15 minutes is enough. There is not much difference between adding water and not adding water. Without water, the soup is sweeter and the steaming time needs to be longer. If you add water, you can steam it for 15 minutes. If you like to drink soup, just add water. Drinking soup can also promote salivation and moisturize the skin.

5. After steaming, immediately put the peaches into a sterilized glass bottle, cover it with a lid and place it upside down. Observe whether it leaks juice. If it leaks juice, eat it as soon as possible, otherwise the shelf life will be short. If it does not leak, it can be stored for a year. Steamed peaches taste better than boiled peaches. Boiled peaches are a bit soft and mushy. I prefer steamed peaches, which are meaty and crispy.

6. For steam oven preparation, first put the cut peaches into a glass bottle, add a layer of sugar and a layer of peaches, then add purified water until the bottle is 80% full.

7. Put the golden peaches in the glass bottle into the oven, turn on the pure steaming mode, steam at 100 degrees for 15 minutes, simmer for 5 minutes, and immediately close the lid and turn it upside down after taking it out of the oven.

8. After the glass bottles have cooled completely, turn them over and put the cans in the refrigerator for better taste.

9. The delicious canned yellow peaches are ready. I like to refrigerate them before eating. It’s so refreshing.
