Beware! Beware of acute myocardial infarction with these 4 body signals

The news that the young actress Sun Qiaolu, who was only 25 years old, died suddenly of a heart attack after drinking with friends shocked people greatly.

In the general public's mind, myocardial infarction is an "old age disease", and acute myocardial infarction patients under the age of 40 are extremely rare. But now, the incidence of acute myocardial infarction in people over 25 years old is soaring every year, and most young acute myocardial infarction patients are only 35 to 44 years old.

What is myocardial infarction?

In short, it is the blockage of heart vessels by plaques, ischemia and hypoxia of coronary arteries, which causes local blood flow interruption. Acute myocardial infarction is very scary and occurs very quickly. In severe cases, the heartbeat will suddenly stop, and the person will lose consciousness within 3 to 5 seconds of heartbeat stopping. In other words, if no one is around when the disease occurs, you can only wait to die. The success rate of myocardial infarction rescue outside hospitals in my country is only about 1%. Why are some patients with acute myocardial infarction lucky enough to survive? Because 55% of acute myocardial infarctions have precursors, and symptoms will appear at least 120 minutes in advance. If you can call 120 immediately when you feel uncomfortable, you can be saved! The mortality rate of acute myocardial infarction in hospitals has dropped below 5%. As long as you can get to the hospital before your heart and breathing stop, the possibility of survival is very high.

Acute myocardial infarction

Premonition

1. Long-term heart discomfort

Generally, angina pectoris will not last more than 20 minutes. Once the heart pain lasts for more than 20 minutes, it may be a myocardial infarction, and you should call 120 immediately. If you have never experienced chest tightness, fatigue, palpitations, and shortness of breath and the symptoms gradually worsen, you also need to seek medical attention immediately.

2. Sudden sweating

A significant decrease in cardiac output and overactivity of the sympathetic nerves can both lead to excessive sweating. If you suddenly break out in a lot of cold sweat and can't find the reason, you should suspect that there is a heart problem.

3. Unexplained pain

Unexplained pain in the chest, precordial area, teeth, stomach, mandible, left shoulder and back, and even left thigh may be a precursor to myocardial infarction. These pains usually hurt for a while and then go away after a break. They are the kind of squeezing pain accompanied by a stuffy feeling, and there will be a fear of suffocation like dying.

4. Waking up in the middle of the night due to chest tightness

If you wake up from sleep with chest tightness, this is the most dangerous signal. If this happens, it is best to see a doctor the next day. Do not delay. Many myocardial infarctions occur at one or two o'clock in the middle of the night or in the early morning, and you may not wake up every time.

What should I do when a myocardial infarction occurs?

1. Lie down immediately

2. Call an ambulance immediately and only take the ambulance

3. Don’t take too much nitroglycerin

4. Learn CPR

Common symptoms of acute myocardial infarction should not be ignored: chest pain, chest tightness, or back pain, upper limb discomfort, sweating, etc.; atypical symptoms such as toothache, shoulder pain, etc. should also be vigilant! People who often stay up late, smoke, and drink should seek medical attention immediately if they have symptoms such as sweating and nausea!
