Why was the liver cancer that took Uncle Tat's life already in the advanced stage when it was discovered?

In the past two days, no matter which webpage you open, you will see the news that the famous movie star Wu Mengda has unfortunately passed away due to advanced liver cancer. This has made all the fans of Uncle Da sad and upset. . . Yes, Uncle Da, a comedian, has brought beautiful memories to so many people's childhood. Such news is really too hard to accept!

But the dead are gone, I hope Uncle Tat rests in peace! Today we are going to talk about the liver cancer that took Uncle Tat's life. Why was it discovered in the late stage?

Liver cancer is a malignant tumor, and it is particularly important in my country. Every year, about 45% of new liver cancer cases occur in China. Compared with many other cancers, the most unacceptable thing about liver cancer is that it often develops in the late stage, which leads to many missed treatment opportunities and is also an important factor leading to the very high mortality rate of liver cancer.

So why is liver cancer often discovered in the late stages?

There are several reasons for this:

1. No pain in the early stage, undetectable

The main pain perception of the liver is on the liver capsule, and internal lesions generally do not affect the liver capsule. Pain will only occur when the tumor begins to grow rapidly and squeezes the liver capsule.

But at this time, such a large lump is most likely in the late stage.

2. Liver cancer itself does not affect individual functions in the early stages

This is also very troublesome and leads to the inability to notice changes in the body in the early stages.

The liver itself has powerful functions, and the body's functions can be performed without even the entire liver, which means that even if the liver has become cancerous, the liver can still complete the functions required of a normal human body.

To give a typical example, everyone should know that the liver can be partially removed.

For most people, you cannot feel the changes, so naturally you won't pay attention to something as terrible as cancer.

3. Continuous progress, easy to ignore.

Many liver cancers develop in the same order as hepatitis or fatty liver disease. In this case, it is difficult to make a clear distinction.

Especially for diseases like hepatitis and fatty liver, which have a large number of patients, many people have become accustomed to the existence of these diseases, but they are difficult to cure, and many times do not affect their personal lives.

However, there is no need to worry too much. Uncle Da passed away, and everyone is heartbroken, so they are also paying attention to liver cancer. But in recent years, the overall rate of liver cancer in China has shown a downward trend.

So for most people, it goes without saying that a regular life is necessary. If conditions permit, regular physical examinations are very necessary.

Finally, rest in peace Uncle Da, thank you for leaving us with countless wonderful memories.

(After thinking about it, the one I remember most is probably Westward Journey.)
