Plaque is the main cause of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Do three things every day to help you stay away from plaque.

Atherosclerosis is a common cause of a series of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as carotid stenosis and coronary heart disease. Preventing plaques can help people reduce the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Next, I will introduce three behaviors to prevent plaques.

1. Eat a balanced diet

Follow the principle of low-salt, low-oil, low-fat diet, eat more vegetables, fruits and whole grains. Don't completely give up carbohydrates and meat. Giving up carbohydrates will make people lack energy and feel listless, especially white-collar workers who are engaged in mental work. If they lack carbohydrates, they may feel drowsy all day and have symptoms of hypoglycemia. If you don't eat meat for a long time, the human body will lack vitamin B12, which will affect your health. Therefore, insist on eating an appropriate amount of carbohydrate foods and meat products every week, but be careful to eat less cured and processed meats such as sausages.

Eat less snacks, desserts, and drink less beverages. These foods are absorbed in the body in the form of sugar. Excessive intake will cause an increase in cholesterol in the body and increase the risk of atherosclerosis.

2. Aerobic exercise and weight control

Exercise can not only strengthen the body, but also increase the oxygen content of the brain, enhance the vitality of the brain, and improve people's learning and work efficiency. You can choose your favorite sports, such as running, playing ball and yoga, and do appropriate physical exercise in the warm afternoons in winter. In case of bad weather such as heavy fog, you should stop exercising to avoid damaging your health.

In addition, there are certain requirements for the amount of exercise. You need to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day and at least 5 days a week to achieve the requirements of physical fitness.

3. Regularly measure blood pressure and blood lipids

Hypertensive patients should measure and record their blood pressure every day to understand changes in blood pressure. If there are any abnormalities, they should contact their doctors in time. Hyperlipidemia patients should measure their blood lipids regularly to monitor changes in their blood lipids.

Small actions lead to big rewards. I hope everyone can stick to the correct lifestyle and stay away from diseases and worries.
