Vaginal wall bulging uterine prolapse

Vaginal wall bulging uterine prolapse

Uterine prolapse and vaginal wall bulging are two diseases, but they are usually mentioned together. Because these two diseases often exist together, they are collectively called pelvic organ prolapse (Pelvic Organ Prolapse, referred to as POP in English), and usually need to be treated together. So, what are the types of vaginal wall protrusion and uterine prolapse? How do uterine prolapse and vaginal wall protrusion occur?

This group of conditions and others, such as stress urinary incontinence, vaginal relaxation, and anal incontinence, are often grouped together in a relatively new specialty, gynecological urology. Dr. Gong stayed abroad for nearly a year in 2012, mainly focusing on studying gynecological urology. This field has many new concepts and treatment methods internationally, and the diagnosis and treatment of this field in China also needs to be upgraded.

When uterine prolapse occurs, part of the uterus slips away from its original position, and may be accompanied by part of the vaginal wall bulging. The former wall is dominant, and the specific manifestation is that loose tissue can be touched in the female vagina, similar to a ping-pong ball, and there is a feeling of falling. Moderate to severe cases may affect the bladder and duodenal function, and the main manifestation is difficulty urinating or defecating. Some people need to push the prolapsed uterus or vaginal wall back into the female vagina before they can urinate or defecate. Many people have long-term difficulty walking due to loose uterus or vaginal walls, which affects their ability to go out and their quality of life. Generally, it is mild in the morning and worsens after noon activities.

According to foreign statistical analysis, POP is a disease that affects the quality of life of the elderly, and about 7% of women need surgery to correct prolapse in their lifetime. If urinary incontinence is also present, 11% of women have a chance of requiring surgery in their lifetime.

What types of vaccines are there for production of paralysis?

According to the location of the prolapse, it can be distinguished into anterior vaginal wall prolapse (because the anterior wall of the vagina is the bladder and urethral opening, it may be combined with cystocele or bladder urethral opening prolapse), posterior wall prolapse (behind the posterior wall is the duodenum and abdomen, and depending on the intestinal tract, duodenal prolapse and colonic prolapse may be distinguished), and apical prolapse (usually uterine prolapse. If a hysterectomy has been done before, vault prolapse may also occur).

How to produce uterine prolapse and vaginal wall prolapse vaccine

Most people experience uterine prolapse and vaginal prolapse related to pregnancy and childbirth. During the natural delivery process, the fetus squeezes the pelvic wall, causing damage to the pelvic floor muscles and nerves, resulting in uterine prolapse and vaginal wall prolapse. Many people are therefore concerned about whether they should undergo a cesarean section instead of natural childbirth. This is only to consider this issue from the perspective of preventing pelvic prolapse. After all, cesarean section is a surgical treatment, and it may also cause problems such as wound endometriosis, scar pregnancy, and uterine rupture in the next pregnancy. Therefore, it is not strongly recommended.

Another factor that causes uterine prolapse and vaginal wall bulging is menopause. After menopause, with the decrease of estrogen, collagen and muscle tissue will shrink, which will aggravate prolapse. This is why estrogen treatment is also helpful in alleviating prolapse and urinary incontinence.

A rare factor is congenital defects, which only accounts for about 2%. Patients with some rare connective tissue diseases such as Marfan syndrome may have a higher risk of prolapse.
