How to treat closed comedones on the chin

Many girls have closed comedones on their faces. Although they are neither painful nor itchy, they feel bumpy to the touch and cannot be hidden even with makeup. Especially when facing the light, the small bumps on the face look really disgusting. Today I’m sharing with everyone how to treat closed comedones on the chin!

Many people will ask, what are closed comedones? Don’t mistake the pimples on your face for acne! "Closed comedones" are also a type of acne, which are caused by the deposition of sebaceous glands in the pores of the skin. Different from other types of facial acne, "closed comedones" often only appear on the forehead, without inflammation, and are not accompanied by skin lesions. From the appearance, the skin area with "closed comedones" is not smooth, with many smaller protrusions, and feels rough to the touch, but painless.

Choose skin care products containing sodium salicylate: Sodium salicylate has a very good effect on facial exfoliation. It can also promote skin metabolism, tighten pores, remove acne and blackheads, effectively fade fine lines and wrinkles, and help restore skin's radiance. In areas with closed comedones, apply sodium salicylate essence on your face, or apply sodium salicylate essence in the morning, noon and evening, and the closed comedones will disappear after a period of time.

Use a gentle face wash: Properly clean the skin and properly remove the dead skin cell layer to reduce the appearance of closed comedones. It is necessary to maintain a clean balance to avoid skin damage, as the skin's oil secretion is greater and closed comedones are more likely to form. Therefore, when cleansing your face, try to choose a gentle facial cleanser, with the standard of washing it clean without leaving any tightness. Those cleansers that leave your face feeling fake and slippery after washing should be discarded.

Apply vitamin D ointment: If the problem of "closed comedones" is very serious, or even tends to be inflamed, it is best to go to the hospital to see a professional dermatologist for a preoperative consultation. Generally speaking, doctors treat acne problems with vitamin D drugs to help thin the stratum corneum and suppress inflammation. However, vitamin D drugs such as retinoic acid are strong oxidants and are very irritating. They will weaken the defense of the stratum corneum barrier and have great side effects. Therefore, you must strictly follow the doctor's instructions when using them. It is not recommended to buy them on your own and try them.

Keep exercising: Regular sweating can detoxify the body and also remove closed comedones. For a period of time, I insisted on practicing yoga in the morning and doing weight loss exercises at night. My face has become much smoother and most of the closed comedones have disappeared.
