Postmenopausal bleeding risk of cancer

Postmenopausal bleeding risk of cancer

Most women go through menopause around the age of 50. Women after menopause are prone to many kinds of symptoms, especially the many manifestations of menopause, which can cause great trouble to daily life. Some women also experience bleeding after menopause. What is the probability of getting cancer in this case? Let's take a look together.

Postmenopausal bleeding cancer probability:

Under normal circumstances, the probability of getting cancer due to bleeding after menopause is not very high, only a few thousandths. In most cases, it may be a benign disease, such as endometritis or uterine polyps, as well as cervical fibroids, which can all be cured through surgery, but future bleeding will also bring some risks of cancer.

What are the causes of postmenopausal bleeding?

1. Malignant tumors: In the past, it was believed that the incidence of malignant tumors in postmenopausal abnormal uterine bleeding was very high, so it was believed that postmenopausal abnormal uterine bleeding was a signal of malignant disease. However, in recent years, it has been discovered that malignant tumors are only a small part of patients with postmenopausal bleeding. Among the malignant tumors that can cause abnormal uterine bleeding after menopause, endometrial cancer is more common, followed by cervical cancer. Uterine and ovarian malignant tumors are relatively rare.

2. Multifunctional abnormal uterine bleeding: According to clinical medical survey reports, more than half of the patients with postmenopausal abnormal uterine bleeding have no obvious organic diseases, but multifunctional abnormal uterine bleeding caused by endocrine imbalance has become the main cause of postmenopausal bleeding.

All normal premenopausal symptoms:

1. Menstrual disorders. One is prolonged menstruation, shortened menstruation, scanty menstruation, and eventually amenorrhea. The second is irregular menstruation, with heavy menstrual flow or continuous bleeding for several days after the menstrual period. The third situation is sudden amenorrhea, which does not occur afterwards.

2. The main skin symptoms are dry and loose skin, wrinkles on the face, neck, and hands, especially around the mouth and outer corners of the eyes, drooping eyelids, enlarged pores on the face, continued worsening of facial pigmentation, dull and lusterless skin, etc. Neuropsychiatric symptoms: Headache is a common symptom, sometimes severe pain, dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia, irritability, suspicion, sensitivity and suspicion.

Reasons for normal menopause:

1. Menopause means the decline of the ovaries, the lack of estrogen metabolism, the cessation of menstruation, and the cessation of reproductive function. It is generally divided into three stages: premenopause, menopause and mid-to-late menopause. Menopause is measured based on the time of a woman's last menstrual period. Most women go through menopause between the ages of 45 and 55. After menopause, the sudden and significant lack of estrogen can cause some discomfort, which can occur in many people before menopause.

2. Women often experience some symptoms during menopause. They are neither organic diseases nor pathological conditions that cannot be cured or exist permanently once they occur. Female menopause is a critical period of endocrine changes, and different people will naturally have different responses to this matter. Many people understand that some changes in women's menopause, especially menopause, are inevitable processes, and they will take it calmly, accept it as part of daily life, do not feel any pressure or anxiety, and do not cause any symptoms, and enter old age safely.
